I was tired of paying so much for cable when in reality I don’t even have time to watch tv. This is perfect for anyone who doesn’t have a smart tv and wants to watch Netflix or if your are into foreign programs and want to watch them using Viki.

Extremely fast streaming of apps on device! The Roku controller is able to control the TV and the Roku, because you connect the stick to the HDMI port on your TV. Great upgrade from the Roku2010 box.

Great device that enables you to get rid of your cable or satellite company. Forget the high cost of rental equipment and monthly fees cable companies charge. This is a one time $39.99 charge for everything you get with cable companies!

I haven't mastered the voice remote feature yet. It would be nice if there a manual that came with it to help since voice commands are not intuitive. That said, the remote works well. I'm thrilled with this product.

I love the Roku Streaming Stick! I wish I had known about it sooner. A customer service rep at Spectrum explained that I could return my converter boxes and use the Roku instead. The set-up was quick and easy. I'm only giving 4 stars bc the remote dies not have numbers, therefore, you have to click/scroll through many channels to get to the one you want.

I bought the roku so I could have xfinity Stream in my bedroom. I also watch a lot of Hulu Plus, specifically Family Guy. Although it's in the far corner of the house, remote from the router, it works perfectly, and meets all my needs.

Pretty good device, easy to use and there are a lot of channels to choose from. This is my second device and it seems as it has gotten slower. Takes a couple of seconds to respond to the key press, sort of annoying. Especially noted on Netflix. Our smart TV is much faster.

I don't know if it was my Samsung TV or something else but we had the HD Fire stick and it did not work well with our smart Samsung TV. I tried numerous ways to fix it and then finally decided to try a Roku. No problems with interface whatsoever. No long delays loading apps, shows, or movies. If you're having trouble with the Fire Stick try this.

This Roku stick works well for streaming a wide variety of applications. The voice remote allows for finding programs quickly!

I am enjoying my Roku Streaming stick. It offers several channels that are free to watch. With lots of movies and shows. I wish I could get more local channels but I guess that is not possible unless I pay for them. I do miss be able to see my local news. So if you are needing to see the news and don't want to pay extra this might not be for you.

Purchased this because I switched to spectrum tv and it was required in order to get channels to my bedroom tv without having a box but love that I can get all my streaming channels on the tv as well

The roku works fine but the packaging implies all of these FREE streaming channels "You get . . . " and that is a gross misrepresentation of what is actually free. Also the app is more complicated to a woman who just wants to sit on her couch and point the remote to her tv and turn it on! I guess those days are over!

I like the Roku, it let's you download a lot of different apps, but the reason for only giving it 4 stars is because every so often the remote will stop communicating, even with the adapter they sent for free, you still get issues, but the phone app seems to always work, so you are never dead in the water when trying to watch something.
