It worked fine, but now I'm looking for an HDMI to AV type connector.

Great alternative to cable box

Very simple to connect to the Wifi and download all of my apps. Love the fact that the remote controls my TV power and volume as well.

Its cool

The first one got ruined in a move and the second one overheated so bad it would skip and turn off. I do enjoy how it turns a "dumb" tv into a smart tv though and is fantastic for the tv in our bedroom. Enjoy at your own risk ;)

Roku rocks beats cable hands down

Cut the cord!

Plug it into an HDMI input on your tv and plug the included usb cable into the Roku and a USB port on your tv. Follow the setup instructions and voila! Of course you need an internet connection and wifi router.

Roku has turned out to be a great choice and we love it. Highly recommended !

I've been very pleased with mine and purchased one for my daughter's TV. Now she can relax in her room to watch some of her favorites shows as I've squashed the expense of cable.

It does need to be restarted once in a while because it will stop responding to the remote but I am not sure that is a problem with the streaming stick or my home network.
