The Roku streaming stick certainly met my expectations. I was able to take it on vacation with me and install it on the hotel tv with no trouble. The only negative is the remote infrequently doesn't work for a few seconds at a time. I've experienced this at random times; however, the impact on the experience is minimal.

Roku has all the apps I want and the set up is easy.

I haven't had cable for a few years, so I've been relying on Netflix for the majority of my at-home entertainment. Roku is amazing because it gives me Netflix plus a bunch of other options, many of which are free!

The stick works as expected. The stick has its own power supply, i.e. the USB cable and its charger are plugged in a wall outlet. However, in one occasion (in the first few weeks) the stick lost power. I needed to unplug the micro USB cable from the stick and plug the cable back in, and this fixed the problem.

This will slash cable rates drastically! Recommended

Bought this for tv in the kitchen (downstairs) about a year ago. No complaints so far. Our cable modem is upstairs on the other end of the house and the Roku captures the internet signal well almost 100% of the time.

Roku has become my go to streaming device. It’s great for any non-smart TV and allows streaming cable if cable isn’t run to a room. Also, private listening mode is perfect for watching tv without disturbing others.

Much cheaper than cable, takes some time to master

We dropped our cable company and we were able to do so with the Roku providing a great spot to have all of our streaming channels together in one screen. Including Netflix, Hulu, iheartradio, and even live TV channels. It does give me issues now and then I have to restart it but it could be the wifi slowing it down too.

The ROKU is simple to set up and very easy to use.

Luv it May get rid of cable soon because of the Roku!

This has turned my entire house into an upgraded TV house. We can use every app now that my older TV's were not able to run. Excellent cost effective way to upgrade TV's to run any new apps.

It's quick and easy to set up. I have no complaints.

I have had no problems whatsoever with this device. Connects to Wi-Fi easily and I’m able to stream anything I want whenever I want. Amazing product! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a streaming device.

I should have stayed away from the ROKU Streaming Stick; for some reason it goes through remote control batteries very quickly. All my other non-streaming stick ROKUs work great but I am definitely disappointed in this particular purchase!!

We cut the cord and used this for our downstairs TV, which is lucky because we didn't have a remote! We can use this to stream everything, with no wires, and turn our tv on and off without moving.

After a few hours of use watching all of my favorite stories I noticed an overheat warning pop up on my screen. In order to combat this issue I bought a HDMI cable so it would give the device more breathing room. Since then I haven't had any issues.

This is my 4th roku purchase. This one was purchased to replace an older roku 4. I would give this a 5 but for some reason I need to go thru the remote reset process about once a week, ordered the (free) HDMI extension cable in hopes that the issue is related to my "old" plasma TV generating some HDMI interference.

Easy to use and set up even for a beginner to Roku
