I canceled our direct tv service & now we only use a Roku. We mainly use it for Netflix & Amazon. There are several good free channels , the roku channel, tubitv, & Sony crackle.

Purchased this product as a replacement to my beloved, but dated and quirky, Roku 2. Perfect for the bedroom TV and purchasing at best buy ensured I had a reliable device in time for Olympics streaming.

No problems with the Roku except getting used to technology which is significantly different from cable TV; very different navigation. The Roku itself allows accesss to much more than cable.

Having trouble getting it to work nice with my Smart TV, have to unplug is every morning and plug back in to get the Roku home screen back on. Still trying different things to get it to work nice together. But I love having the Roku features.

I bought this to use instead of my "smart tv" apps. Works great, I do have it connected to a smart plug so I can turn it off when not in use. My attempt to keep it from over heating.

Does what it is suppose to do, flawlessly, it’s a good tool for those who need to stream channels and don’t have a smart tv. Also good for the free streaming channels.

Used it to replace my Amazon fire stick which was not working well when streaming Sling, specifically CNBC. Roku works much better as it does not drop or freeze the stream.

This Roku Streaming Stick allowed me to add a streaming app that is not usually found on most Smart TVs. I have found it to be very versatile in accessing other streaming apps!

I love the idea of this product, and the interface is clean and easy to use. But it's only been a year and a half since I bought it, and it's starting to die already. A few months ago the sound would cut out out on me, and I had to reboot. Then the picture would freeze, and I had to reboot. Now, the picture freezes, and when I try to reboot, my tv doesn't see the device. After unplugging, and rebooting a few times, it sees it again. Ordered another Roku device, hoping that the problem was either just a single faulty product, or that the stick devices overheat and damage themselves.

Roku is hands down the most user friendly and app filled option for making your TV a smart TV. This is a great option for any TV to add anything you would want to access.

Did exactly what I needed it to do. My smart TV was spending a lot of time buffering on Roku streaming Sling. The Roku Streaming Stick eliminated the problem.

Am really enjoying the roku!! I chose option B to get Sling for a month free! Can't beat that!! Already have Netflix which I really enjoy!! Sign up for HBO to go or CBS news for low prices!!

We absolutely love this Roku ! We have returned all but one of our cable boxes and only use the Roku ! If you have spectrum it has a spectrum app on it so you don’t need boxes for every room.

I wanted a TV for out in my woodshop (mainly for noise). This was an inexpensive way to do that without having to add a dish box. I can have music, Netflix, and other channels anytime now.

This product accomplished 2 things. It was an excellent way to stream to my TV and it has voice command. Both were simple to set up. Consider this to get rid of cable and hook up with hulu.!

Returned all cable boxes except for the main box saved me a great deal of money and they work so well if you have WiFi. Just waiting for the okay and I’m returning my main cable box.

I know you can take the Roku out plug it into another TV, but that's a hassle. I got this on sale and it's perfect for my bedroom especially if the grandkids are watching something on the other TV.

I have grown tired of cable and dish and wanted more control over what I watch, at a more reasonable price. This is one of the ways that I am able to achieve my goal.

It has all i need. My parents have a 1080p tv so this worked perfectly for both of em. Now they can watch what they like on TV and other streaming services.
