The only problem is that it is overheating. Is it supposed to be plugged into the charger at all times? Is this why it is overheating?

Great purchase

Great purchase since we weren't watching network TV or the majority of the cable channels anyway. Roku allows us to watch Netflix on the big screens and we've had no problems with slow streaming.

Perfect for my old plasma TV

I had an old ROKU point and shoot that worked well so went with the wireless this time. It works perfectly and was easy to set up. When I asked the people at the store if it had volume control and on off feature, they said no. I had read on line that it did and it does. Still using on off on TV control as the ROKU on off turns off the ROKU also and has to be reloaded each time if this feature is used. Voice command on ROKU is limited.

Good alternative to cable/satellite

Works well, intuitive and easy setup.
