Roku is so easy to use and the remote is awesome! So glad they made such a simple and easy to use remote! So much easier to use than the Apple remotes. Apple remotes especially the touch ones are always activating or selecting something on accident when you touch them. With Roku the buttons are simplified and in the right place where you don't have to even look at it. Plus the Netflix and Hulu shortcuts are awesome! Also, love that the volume control is on the side, easy to find.

I think this is far better than the chromecast at the same price. I came home, plugged it in, followed the instructions and was up and running in no time. Having all the apps there to choose from is a b I g plus.

I purchased a Roku several years ago to use with an older Samsung LCD TV. When XFinity brought the Beta App for their TV service to Roku I decided to try it. That required an upgrade to a new device, as my old one was not usable. This works very well in my bedroom and I don't have to pay $5/mo to Comcast for a small box. As for the other apps and features, my smart TVs cover that so I cannot attest their functionality. Overall, a great product!

Quality much better than even HD cable. It is extremely easy to set up and I am delighted with the amount of free content.

We bought this to replace the cable box that we were renting. It provides a great picture and works very easily.

Bought this to help my mother who is terrified of any new technology. I had originally planned to buy her a new smart TV but the salesman at the store told me putting a Roku on the TV she had would be easier. He was right- I hooked it up and my mom loves it! If you're trying to help someone older access streaming apps, this is the way to go. Can't imagine anything being easier to use than this!

We had a couple of dumb TV's and made the smart with the Roku. We even had an older smart TV that needed the Roku as well. Works great !! Endless hours of streaming with Hulu, Roku, Prime TV and many other services. We do have AT&T fiber to my router with 60 megs up and down, but you can get away with maybe 8 megs, but you may experience some buffering. We experience none. Highly recommend the Roku stick. Say goodbye to cable and satellite !! And their expense.

I wanted to be able to use my computer monitor to watch Netflix and Hulu and TV without being connect to my computer. This works perfectly for that, so I can watch something fun and work on my laptop at the same time. The only downside is that the power button and the volume buttons don't do anything, but that is understandable since the stick is designed to work with TVs not computer monitors.

This is my 2nd Roku I have 1 for my main TV and now this one for Bedroom. I like the ease and functionality of this vs the Chrome Cast I was using. Plus there was a free bonus offered 30days of SlingTV . That made this whole purchase a no brainer for me. (On a side note I had an issue signing up for Sling and Best Buy's excellent customer service people helped me sort it out. I am and will continue to be a Best Buy fan because of their remarkable Customer Service)

I decided I had enough of the cost of cable TV and decided to put a streaming device on all my TV`s and cut the cable. I did just that and now have Roku hookups on 4 TV`s. For streaming you do still need internet service though. I`ve got Spectrum internet with the Spectrum app and still am able to get the complete cable line up through the Roku devices. Easy hook up and with the other available apps I have access to thousands of movies and TV shows.

I purchase this same model a few years back and it did not have volume or on/off controls. This one does!
