Got this instead of Firestick. Very user friendly and easy to navigate. Has a great selection of preloaded apps. Bought it mainly for Hulu access to get rid of cable. So far so good

I purchased this after both of my fire sticks stopped working. My mother has one and loves it so, I decided to give it try. I don't know what I was thinking about not getting one of these before. I like everything about it. Took a minute to get everything setup and connected. Runs slow sometimes but I think it's just my internet connection. Other than that it works very good. I will definitely buy another roku device or Roku television in the future

Love the roku stick. I can also watch all TV through Xfinity app that you download. Then you go into your Xfinity app and watch all the channels you have with your regular TV channels you get on your regular TV and has the regular guide like on your regular TV that is connected with your Xfinity cable box. However you pay one time price with the roku stock and that's it, you don't have to pay another monthly fee for an extra cable box. You only need one cable box ( primary) cable box with your Xfinity account to add as many roku sticks for each additional TV.

Works awesome. Much better picture and sound compared to my smart TV. Works a lot faster too. Great price too.

You get to use the major streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Prime. Unlike the Google Chromecast which I was considering when buying, the Roku doesn't exclude Amazon Prime Video due to Google vs. Amazon competition. To watch Prime Video on Chromecast I think I could only do it through a Chrome browser on a laptop. Also, Roku gives you a remote control which I realize I prefer over controlling my shows by phone (as you do with Chromecast).

It's actually great and I like the voice feature how you can talk to it and ask what you need. It is a bit different than the standard one but it's worth it! Get it today! You won't be disappointed! I wish Roku had browsers involved too but it's not powerful as a desktop yet today. Maybe one day they will. I heard ChromeCast has browsers but the processors in these devices aren't that strong to enable browsing streaming features.

This Roku is very snappy and I love the new remote that can turn on and off the TV and controls the volume too.

Hooked up to a 32 inch 720p tv and just works. I like that roku is platform agnostic so I dont get pushed towards using one service over another. The dlna streaming could be better as the format support doesnt work with mkv with hd audio. The interface is a also a divisive, could it be falsiher and modern looking? Yes, but at least it does it primary job of streaming from online services fantastically, so I'm willing to give roku a pass.

Great product. Being a senior and not tech savvy I was a little concerned about using this. However, it was easy to install and easy to use. I like this one better the other one I have (set up by a youngster) as this one has a mute button. Was able to cut the cord and save $50 a month by using Hulu Live. Roku itself has a lot of free viewing choices too. All in all a good buy

Let me start off this review by saying so far I love my my Roku Stick. I have it plugged into an old, but good, Toshiba TV in the bedroom. Prior to the Roku Stick I had a Chromecast plugged in. To me, this is a big upgrade. Being able to browse apps and content on the TV instead of having to use my phone is great. The OS while a little basic gets the job done very well. The ability to set the Roku remote up to control the TV is an awesome added bonus, not having to fiddle around with two remotes adds a lot of value to me. Now, for the short comings, or places I think this could be improved. I would love to be able to plug an Ethernet cable into it. The WiFi just doesn’t seem to cut it while trying to stream movies from Plex server. I double checked all the settings and it just doesn’t seem to work right. The ability to use the remote to switch inputs and channels on the TV would also be very welcome. A lot of us cord cutters have antennas for local stations and this would mean never having to touch my TV’s remote again. Finally, the voice search is pretty terrible/unusable. Other than those couple of things this little stick is great value for the money and highly recommended for anyone with a “dumb tv” that they wished had apps. I’ve been recommending the Roku Stick from the first day I had it.

If you are not into 4K, this is the stick you need. Plenty of apps, easy to use and a great performance.

I am not a tech guru AT ALL! This product took me about a half hour to set up completely with the use of my lap top. I have had absolutely no issues with the remote or signal. It doesn't take anytime at all to boot up each time I use it. I realized quickly that the tiny remote is not durable, so I keep it on the coffee table for safety. I LOVE that I can watch my shows whenever I have the time to do so. VERY happy I treated myself to Roku!!
