    I had an older Roku stick that lasted for about 2 years. It had been reliable until it finally burned out with heavy use. I happily bought Roku Stick again, but this time I got 2 overheating warnings on the first 3 days of ownership. Also, I liked being able to plug into my tv for power, but this time it said there was not enough power. This was not an issue with my prior Roku Stick. I was so bummed and had to return it to Best Buy. Other folks's reviews mentioned the same issue of overheating. Oh well, I had to go with something else.

    This is a good basic Roku product but it does not have a volume control for the TV so you have to use 2 remotes

    Product works well except it overheats! Working with ROKU they seem to know they do, but can't really fix. Have replaced once already, but unit becomes so hot we have to unplug it after each use. Roku onscreen warning about heat never comes up, but unit is almost too hot to touch.
