Not compatible the way I thought

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There are some disclaimers new Roku users should be aware of that I did not find in any reviews prior to trying this. The initial setup worked fine, plugged it directly into an available HDMI port on my less than <1 year old Vizio4K-HDR TV. Was able to set up my account and apps fine, but when trying to watch anything I got the infamous HDCP error message. Ran through all the steps found on their site, as well as many other sites. Nothing worked. Something with my system was not "certified". Then I found out that the Roku would not work with my surround sound anyway as I have an older Yamaha receiver that doesn't have HDMI ports. So, if you have nothing else connected to your TV other than maybe a soundbar, and want Roku then this should work fine. Otherwise you may run into the same issues I did. I ended up returning it. I have been using my PS3 and Xbox One S as media centers for quite a while now. I use an old Roku 2 in my home office and cut the cord a while back.

Good, but I prefer the Premier Roku

It provided the same quality broadcast, but I found the stick almost too large to fit comfortably behind my set and there was more interference with the WiFi and Remote signal, where inputs would become lagged at start up and when not used for a while (like after watching a movie) I returned it for a new Premier.
