Good alternative to an additional cable box

Alot of buffering.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We recently "cut the Cord" and bought these Roku sticks to Stream Direct TV Now, Hulu, and Netflix. Some of the time it works great, however, it does buffer quite a bit, especially in the evening. I get a much better stream when I use my Chromecast so when the Roku starts buffering I just switch over to the Chromecast and the buffering stops. I do like the remote.

No good

I was not happy that they force you to give a credit card number in sign up for an account. I wanted it for free TV. The free programs are not that great. A lot are old shows. It is just a way to suck you into paying for something that you might actually want to watch.

It’s ok

It sure sounds better than it is when it comes down to using it. Maybe we are not “connected” enough to apps to get full use. I am marking that I would recommend it to a friend, but it will be with some “yea, buts.”
