Piece of junk

The performance is horrid. It frequently overheats, and since it does not shut off when not running the TV it often overheats when I start to watch. It pauses video and indicates I have slow internet connection (I have 100+ mb) I frequently have to restart the device to watch anything. I am truly baffled by all of the positive reviews this has received. I will never buy Roku again.

Needs improvement

Also I am technology illiterate and needed Marcus from the Geek Squad to help me program the Roku stick for the tv.

Painful to change channels

Sometimes, it's fuzzy/blurry, and other times, it's crystal clear. No obvious reason for this pattern. More importantly, to change the channel, you have to go to Guide, and change the channel one digit at a time, until you get to the channel you want. There's no way to directly enter the channel number you want. Worse, you have to repeatedly hit the channel change button , or eels wait several seconds between changes. So, it takes minutes to go from a low number channel to a high number channel, or vice versa. I bought it to avoid the need to pay Spectrum $8/month for each TV's mini set-top box. Their base monthly charge is bad enough without paying them $24/month more for 3 less used TV's. Knowing what I do now about the Roku system, I would not recommend it to anyone.
