It only worked when I stood next to the tv and pointed it at the usb stick. I ended up getting a different roku that mounted to the bottom of the tv and had a direct line of sight to the remote.

However, after a few months It stopped working and ROKU’s customer service for fixing it was terrible. We replaced it with an Amazon Fire Stick.

There is a lag when using the remote at times, and I frequently have to unplug and reset the stick just to get it to work. Not worth the extra dough either. You still have to plug in a power cord to the USB stick.

Streaming quality is good and the internet connection is strong. The only real issue I have is that the remote keeps losing connection to the Roku and I have to reconnect it. It’s incredibly frustrating when that happens.

We bought this as a replacement and it loses sync with the tv frequently and the voice control doesn't work for entering info like long email addresses. This item is "meh" at best.
