I have owned this device for about 6 months- it overheats at least twice a week. When it overheats you are unable to use it until it completely cools. The Roku is plugged into the back of my tv. It sits away from any walls, windows,etc. There is at least a 2 foot gap between my tv and the wall, so I know it’s not overheating due to outside factors. We also only use it in the evening as it’s in our bedroom so I know it’s not from overuse. It’s a major fire hazard and safety concern. For the price I paid, I expected it to last at least a year if not more.

Easy to set up and no issues. Happy to cut the cord!

I've used ROKU for years and really like their product. I think I might have a faulty one, though, so plan to exchange it. Sometimes the remote doesn't communicate well with the TV and ROKU player. I'm sure it's not an issue with this model - just this particular player.

everything is ok except I cannot get our local CBS channel 804. I get CBS news but I want the local station as I watch it in the early a.m. and at 5pm. Any suggestions? If this can be corrected, I would give it a 5

Pickup of iPhone curbside went perfectly. But then problems started. Although phone was specified for Sprint, apparently it came with no SIM card. Appointment at Sprint took days, then Sprint said they were out of SIM cards and more expected on Monday, and that they would call us. However, they did not. We called a few days later and they were in. We went to Sprint and successfully made the transfer. However, all contents of old phone were not transferred. Next time, we will just wait for Apple to open and get the whole job done while we wait. Not all your fault, but we were unhappy being with a broken phone for several weeks.

I had no problems with my older version of Roku but had to purchase two new roku in order to download the Xfinity app. The newer versions keep shutting down Netflix while I am in it. So I have had to uninstall/reinstall Netflix several times in the past month.

It works pretty good, though I wish there the was a way to turn the iall the way off to save bandwidth. Also my TV USB connector did not provide enough power for the stick, which means I had to use the supplied USB AC adapter. AgaIn, mo way to turn off the stick.

When I got this I could not believe how much I loved it. Now 4 months of using it and only using maybe once or twice a week, it overheats within 20 minutes every time I use it.

Roku stick works great. Easy to connect to my WiFi.

Cutting our cable and going to ROKU has been great

Returned the item. We have Apple TV which is basically the same. On Roku, the programs are delayed one day and many of the desired programs were not free. Unable to get local channels. Bought an antennae which works far better for what we wanted.
