There needs to be a way for just putting in your subscription and not have to double pay.

It starts a buffering process like me every 10 minutes and after a few hours of watching it needs to turn off and gives a message to reconnect. We gave apple downstairs and no issues.

Sometimes it works really well, and other times it doesn't work at all and takes several minutes to work. It wasn't super expensive, but I wish it worked better.

Roku stick works great, the remote is a huge pain!! Always having to re pair. You can use your phone as the remote with the app downloaded.

Well, it does the tv, but not the surround sound. My Apple TV remote automatically worked with my tv and surround sound without me having to do anything. I used to be a cable guy and I tried everything to hack a way to get it to work but it wouldn’t. I returned it. Roku may offer more channels/apps but most of them are niche channels/apps. Both offer the same major channels/apps and the Apple TV has a better remote and a better user interface.

It overheats after an hour or two of use and they offered to give us a free HDMI extender but our old one never overheated even once. Further research showed me that the extender wont prevent it either so we returned this one and got one that does not plug in the same way. It is this model that is having problems. So disappointed and tech support will give you the same worn out song the website does. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL

If you are going to buy the Roku stick, make sure it works for you and don't expect the anything else.

For a Senior Citizen, it's not that easy to use. Hopefully when I have more time to spend with this item, I'll have more enjoyment for my investment.

They work okay, but the batteries last, maybe, 2 months. Last one I had to replace both batteries in just 34 days. (I started dating the batteries - I just wanted to know.) If you buy one of these, you might consider buying stock in Berkshire Hathaway (they own Duracell). Maybe returns from the stock will help you offset the high cost - and annoyance - of frequently changing the batteries. Ugh!

I have to go through a lot of channels in order to get the one I want. I was not prepared to find out that I needed another clicker to handle sound.

It certainly doesn’t perform like a tv directly connected to cable. It sometimes loses connection to WiFi and has to be unplugged to reset it.

I disabled it in device manager and installed a TP thumb unit works unbelievable . I get 50 gig download. I pay for 50 gig At&T.

And when you begin to watch something, the signal disappears so often that you can't get past the the Netflix logo.

Then started to get warning on screen about stick getting to hot. Turned off tv and stick for an hour, restarted and it also overheated. Contacted roku , and they were aware of problem, and the sent to us at no charge an adapter to reduce heat. Just got it and have not reinstalled stick or adapter
