Cheaply made / poor design

The hdmi port on my tv is in the back and this stuck out and was in the way. The plug in part was flimsy and bent easily. The connection kept shorting out. I ended up returning it and just getting a new tv with Roku built in.

Rough start

I had to call customer service and email them several times. One day at a time the device started to work. I still have occasional problems with it not having an internet connection when I know that my internet is working fine. I am not sure that I would recommend this model.

Overheats

Then last time I used it, I got a WARNING on my TV screen that something was about to damage the TV, so that's it. Now it's sitting here on my desk in a box. Sigh.

Don't buy green boxed steam stick

Best buy employee said it sounds like the stick is dying because of the steel that should help great dissipate but is not good at it. The upgraded one has court which is better. Four months is a terrible time to have an item last and start to have issues.

I Hate Roku!

We start watching and not 2 hours later it is on FIRE! Have only had it for 2 months. Would return but BB only allows returns for 15 days! Boo Roku! Boo BB! Wish I had known BB had crappy return policy.
