ROKU vs Firestick - Russia Today News
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.NBC (CNN, HLN, MSNBC,CNBC, ABC, & CBS - Fake news with heavy partisan bias) and FoxNews are worlds apart in news content. Russia is heavily in the news, and I like to watch Russia Today OTA for a different slant. Russia Today is not about "Russia", but rather the U.S. and more. RT-USA is available on ROKU but not on FireTV. I own both. This newer ROKU 3800R is the way to go as it controls POWER and VOLUME if you have a compatible TV. I was not a ROKU fan until this 3800R, and is better than Firestick for these reasons and others.

Works good, but really...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my second Roku and they work great, but... the streaming stick would not fit into my HDMI slot. The design requires a lot of room. Roku offers a free extender to fix this, but instead of just shipping it with the Roku you have to order it online and wait for arrival. So I go to do this only to find they are out of stock. Probably because everyone needs one! Then get this - they won't accept my request as a back order. I have to keep filling out the form over and over again and re-requesting the extender until I get lucky and they are back in stock. This is pretty lame. I really would have expected much better customer service from Roku. I give the product a 5 for performance, but the customer service a 1 one, which equals out to a 3 rating.
