Bottom line - by far the best streaming device for the money. Much simpler to use than Chromecast Streaming and easy to setup. Not as cool or easy to use as AppleTV but also $110 less. I have all three and the Roku streaming device is by far the most cost effective and easy to use. Knowing what I know now, I would have saved my purchase of 3 Chromecasts and 1 Apple TV and just purchased the Roku Streamer

Lots of choices for streaming devices. I have an Amazon Firestick, a Roku TV and this Roku Streaming Stick. I returned a Firestick and replaced with the Roku, just because I prefer the interface and options of the Roku system. I have not regretted that choice. I have dropped satellite TV, added YouTube TV and still have more choices than needed. (YouTube TV not available via the Firestick) And the Roku remote has replaced the need for the everyday use of the TV remote. I love having volume control, but I really do wish the Roku remote had a mute button.

I would give it a 5 but nothing’s worth a five in my book. With that said, the Roku streaming stick works better than my 2nd generation Apple TV with convienence of use and app availability. Does not air play with iOS device but that is due to apples regulatons.

Grabbed a couple of these when we decided to cut the cable and go all streaming. I chose Roku because of its versatility, it's ease of use and simple setup. And it was very easy to set up, it's very easy to use, the wife picked it right up, no problems. And it has more content on it than I could ever watch! I feel like I have even more content than before. I'm very happy with this purchase. Easy peasy...

I've had Amazon Prime for years and didn't know how to use the video features with Tivo. Turns out you can't. So I got a Roku stick and wow, I love it! Using Netflix is easy, Amazon Prime is slick, and you can search for any movie or show and it shows you options to watch it, either free if your service covers it, or for a couple of bucks. I liked it so much I bought another one for the other TV!

Small easy to use good quality really like the software interface reasonably priced

I was looking to reduce my current cable bill and wanted to eliminate the cable boxes from my provider. This device allowed me to stream the cable content. I found the picture quality was only fair, and I ended up returning this model and purchased the Roku Premiere. The Premiere remote does not have power on/off or volume control which I had to give up. I personally felt a better picture that was afforded by the Premiere at 4K was more important than the added features on the Roku stick.

I absolutely love this Roku Streaming Stick! Much easier to use than Google Chromecast! It gives you access to apps your smart TV doesn't have. Very quick and painless setup, easy to use, great variety of apps, huge selection of free channels and music, and you can choose which channels and apps you add to your interface. You can also arrange them in any order you like! Perfect for our house.

I have a regular TV in a room with no cable so used a Chrome Cast Watch things from my tablet and it would constantly freeze or stop. I got the Roku so I wouldn’t have to cast anymore and it is so much more convenient. I have everything on there that I use to cast plus a lot more and I don’t get frustrated because I don’t have anymore freezing and restarting.

Fairly easy to use and navigate. Remote works well. Every once in awhile it will go back to the roku main menu for no reason but its not a big deal
