I bought this for a secondary television. I had a cable box and dvd player (used to access Netflix and Amazon Prime) attached to this television. I was able to get rid of both devices. The Roku serves the exact same functions! I'll recoup the cost of the Roku in about six months with the return of cable box.

I don't know why anyone would pay for cable when Roku is so affordable and easy to use. I bought two of them and I have been very VERY happy with Roku. I cancelled my Direct TV and have saved hundreds of dollars per month. I could not possible watch all the channels on Direct TV. Roku is just enough.

Much better WiFi reception than others. I like roku best, all the interfaces to various providers is much more intuitive. Probably get a couple more.

This makes it so easy to cut the cord and go streaming only. I love that one remote controls tv volume and power. Also the quick access buttons for Netflix. The power cord is a little short if you end up using it. I didn't feel it made a difference either way, so I just used the tv as the power source.

I own another Roku, but this is faster and better, good price as well

I use this to reduce my cable bill. Using the spectrum app. It is get to be able to down load apps like netflix, hbo go showtime all on one device. Simple to switch between TVs. I haven taken it on vacation and used this to watch movies I have a couple Roku. Put them on any tv I don’t want cable cords hanging from. Highly recommend

Awhile ago, I decided to cut the cable as it got too costly. To facilitate the transition, I bought Roku for our TVs. Easy to set up and easy to operate. Reception is excellent. I purchased streaming services and have no regrets in going off cable TV. Even if you keep your TV provider, Roku is the way to go for streaming services (Hulu, Netflix, etc.)

I love the ease of use of this device and the fact that regardless of which Roku version (I have Stick, Express, Express +) the interface is the same, which is great when you have small children trying to navigate the menus. I put these on all my TVs, even the ones that were already "smart" just so the menus were the same on everything. I highly recommend.

Easy to install and work. P lb. An on buying an extender as I am constantly receiving notices the device is overheating.

Good selection of apps, although some are better than others. Being able to control the TV using the included remote is a plus.

This Roku Streaming Stick is my second such purchase, for an additional television. The beauty of Roku's menu is that in addition to streaming any of a variety of streaming services, I can also access my cable feed (Spectrum) without the need of an additional set-top box. Hence, this device pays for itself in a matter of months. Works for me!

Roku streaming stick works perfect. I would highly recommend it over the Amazon Firestick which I returned because it was terrible. Kept hand up the picture all the time and finally it would kick me out of Hulu. Best Buy gave me my money back on the Firestick and I purchased the Roku and love it.

I had originally planned to buy the less expensive Roku but the extra money is totally worth it for the voice search and the Wi-Fi enabled remote.

I have a Amazon Fire TV and Roku Streaming Stick, I have to say having the two compared I would go with the Roku stick every time. The interface is very easy to use and love the volume and TV power control on the remote no need to buy the sideclick for the Amazon Fire stick which only controls the actual interface no volume or power on TV. Go with the Roku!
