Not as good as a higher end Roku (Roku 4 etc.) but is fairly fast and works well. Like the TV power and volume control.

I'm retired and know just enough about computers, smart tv's and the like to get myself in trouble. So I need simple and easy and that is exactly what I got with this purchase. I had tried a different product, based on the reps recommendation for being easy and had nothing but problems in trying to set it up. I returned that item picked up the Roku and all went well. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Love all that the Roku can do. It’s great for streaming movies, accessing Netflix, Hulu, etc. Easy to use and install.

So much faster than the Rokus I bought in 2016. I haven’t had to replace the batteries since I bought them a year ago. I use to have to put batteries in the old ones monthly. Like the volume buttons on the side and all app buttons like Hulu and Disney directly on the Ruku. So convenient!

Fast easy set up and love the device! Have it planned for the whole house except for the one Spectrum cable box. Have recommended it to others and the Black Friday price was an added bonus. Please keep in mind that the devise is behind the regular cable signal and is delayed maybe up to 30-45 seconds. I still recommend it for purchase.

This plugs into an HDMI and USB port on the back of your tv. If you do not have a USB, you can plug it into a standard outlet. Roku is very simple to use. The onscreen setup makes getting started a snap. Then you select your services such of as Hulu or Netflix, etc., and plug in your log in info. I would definitely recommend this item.

I mounted my tv and got rid of my cable provider. I ended up getting YouTube TV because it’s compatibke with the roku. When you install the roku you plug it in to your HDMI port and you can either plug the power cord to your USB port in the Tv or wall outlet. Great way to minimize cables! Only bad thing I have to say is when you turn your tv on it takes a second to bring you to your home screen. Also other cool features you can turn the tv and adjust the volume from the remote!

Supports many apps like: Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sling Tv, Directv Now, Hulu, YouTube and many others. The connection it good most of the times, except when I gets hot. Mine shut off twice during the summer with a message of overheating risk. Also, once I lost sound from both the tv speakers and the soundbar. Was going through the connections and tv options but did not work until I reset the Roku stick... Overall, it's a good product that allows your tv to be very useful without cable.

I bought this for my parents, so they could stream entertainment. It is easy for them to use, and they are very happy with this device.

We lost our first Roku during a move, so we purchased this one and had no issues installing and using it immediately. The only downside is switching from one HDMI back to the main HDMI that has the cable. We have to use a different remote just to switch input modes. But I love that we can download all of our apps on the Roku and basically watch everything through the Roku.

The Roku is a good streaming device with many free channels and movies. I chose it over the Amazon Firestick because I wanted to stream Youtube tv. The only thing I don't like that I also noticed with other streaming services is that programs sometimes get cutoff before they are finished. I was watching Roku's Weather Nation channel and in the middle of a forecast the channel cut off and went to a commercial. Not sure if this is the channel or the device.

We have 2 of these in our house and they are easy to hook up and use. They do seem to over heat though. Get very hot.

I have both Roku and fire sticks, and find that the Roku stick is simpler and easier to use, and has a wider variety of apps. The remote is comfortable to hold and I love the TV controls. I also got this on sale so for $40 this is an excellent choice to update an old TV and make it smart.

It took a little time, but was fairly easy to follow the instructions for setting up my Roku account and selecting the various streaming channels I wanted to access. Be aware that the majority of them require the purchase of a monthly subscription, (most offering a free one-month trial) but there is some free content available (like Sony Crackle.) Our household was already paying for Amazon Prime, so it was well worth the price of the stick to be able to access the Prime programming.
