I already owned two Roku devises when I bought the stick. Thought it would be an inferior version of my tabletops but was pleasantly surprised that it worked just as well. Good for small spaces like my kitchen table. If you TV is not smart, I highly recommend Roku. My only quibble is that, unlike earlier Roku devices, this one cannot be truly powered off. But, like I said, this is but a quibble. Get this product. It's great!

I bought this for a spare bedroom as I already had a ROKU TV in my living room. It was super easy to install and set-up. The selection of movies available are endless. It's simple to use so kids will figure it out quickly. A very good investment with hours of watching fun at your fingertips.

This is the only solution if you want any streaming service that is available consolidated on one device with a remote. Try pairing Youtube TV with Amazon Prime, for example. You can't do that anywhere else. Plus, it is easy to use, customize, and looks like cable TV. Loce it.

If you do not own a Smart TV, then this is an excellent and very simple device to stream all the channels and shows that you don't even know that you are missing. Netflix, HBOGo, Hulu, YouTube, and tons of others. Plus you can travel with it. Use it on vacation on hotel tvs and never miss a show.

I was hesitant about cutting off my cable. A friend sent me a Chromecast which I was using and just using apps on my smart tv. So glad I purchased a Roku as it makes moving between apps on my smart tv faster and effortless. I plan to replace my Chromecast in my bedroom by purchasing another Roku.

I have one of these in my guest room and a regular Roku box in my bedroom. The only difference I notice is the stick has a slightly more delayed response, but otherwise it works great

I presently have Spectrum TV and was told I could install the Roku stick to a secondary TV using my Spectrum wifi to receive the spectrum app and get all the stations I presently get with my main set (their box). Plugged it in,followed the instructions (easy),and all worked well!

I bought the original Roku device many years ago, so this is my second experience with Roku. What an improvement. It's easy to set up, I love the content, and the voice remote is a fantastic bonus. As I seek to "cut the Cable TV cord" this is a great way to do it.

This is our fourth Roku Stick. Not because we’ve had to replace them, but because we’ve replaced all the Apple TVs we had across the house. We have never had a single issue with our Rokus, and love how user friendly they are. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

When I bought my new TV (Insignia 40") that is not "smart", I also bought a Roku Stick and I'm glad I did. It converted the tv into a Smart TV and I was surprised at all the different things Roku has to offer from not only other streaming services but all the movies etc. that Roku itself offers.

I absolutely do that with my Roku does but for some reason they (I have three) run hot. I even had a message on the TV saying one was overheating. Roku says that it is because the stick is too close to the TV or other heat source which is not true. I did get the recommended extension cord to move it further away. But they are still hot. That said I love with the products.

Needed an alternative to a smart TV. The Roku was the perfect choice.

3rd one I own. Very useful when there is no cable access. Can even be used in the road in hotels with WiFi.

I'm really excited I got this device because I get all the channels I do watch. Definitely done with cable.

This was the 5th or 6th Roku I have purchased, this one for a gift. I absolutely love Roku, as do the people I have gifted them to. The selection of channels is amazing and the ease of use is beyond compare. Will definitely buy again.

So easy to set up and get started. The only time consuming part is initially entering the passwords for the different apps you want to use. Solved my problem with my old Smart TV becoming “dumb.” Saved me from buying a new TV in the mean time

I could not be more satisfied with this device. Installation was a snap, it is very easy to use, it boots applications quickly and Roku has access to every service I need. Add to this that it was about 1/4 of the cost of the new Apple TV. If there are any cons I have yet to discover them.

Bought a 4k one and this one as well for a 1080p Samsung (2014) smart TV for my kid's room so they could watch YouTube TV and Disney+. Ended up loading up my Netflix account as well because it was quicker to load than going through the smart hub on the tv itself.

I have a Roku device for all of my tvs It is awesome. Easy to setup and use. If you download the Roku app on your phone. You can send the stream the audio to headhone connected to your phone while the picture is on your tv. Great for watching tv at night while people are sleeping.

My parents are retired and have been using my family streaming services but my dad hates smartphones. This gives him a remote he is comfortable with and allows him to enjoy more than what the antenna provides. No more bugging mom to put the game on or just missing it.
