I bought 4 sticks for different TV's at home and a couple of them take some time for the remote control to start working. I do not know why and it does not always happen, but it bothers me when it does happen, kind of annoying. So far, when it finally connects and starts working, it continues to work, so I guess it si not so bad. Otherwise, very easy to set up and use.

Great addition to anyone wanting to stream their favorite shows, movies, and videos while utilizing high speed WiFi from the provider of your choice. Great for travel use in hotels or family visitations. Make sure you unplug power cord from device after usage. Device gets hot. Also, remote needs a few seconds to connect to device after startup sequence.

The functionality of the Roku player this HDMI stick provides is top. It is not as good or pricey as the 4k or the freestanding versions but it gets you there. I suggest you power the stick from it's own power supply instead of one of the USB connectors of your TV. The reason is that some TV's don't reliably supply good power over USB and most important thing is that the Roku player doesn't have to reboot every time you turn on the TV. When it reboots, it takes longer and has to pair with the remote every time. Now if you are holding the remote very close to the TV that is not a problem but imagine yourself in bed with the TV at the far end of the room and after the TV powers on and you see on screen the jumping Roku boot-up, the remote pairing fails to happen because the distance between the TV and remote.

I upgraded to this Roku because of the remote. I hate having a lot of different remotes laying around. This one comes with a remote that lets me turn my tv on and off and control the volume. If you don’t care about having that functionality then I recommend getting one the the cheaper ones.

This products is alot faster than my old Roku XD. Easy to set up.

The Roku streaming stick is very easy to install. Plug into the power outlet, then plug the device into an HDMI port on your TV. When you turn on your TV, the installation steps appear on the screen.

The Roku is the best way to cut the cord with cable TV and stream live with your Netflix, Amazon and/or Hulu subscriptions! I even bought one for my friend Iris who is not very tech savvy and, even for her, it was super easy to hook up and use.

I like that the new Roku controls on/off switch and volume.

I really like it. I bought it for one of my kids room due to no cable in there. And she now spends time in her room, watching you tube and Netflix. It's really cool and I need another one to take the cable box out of my room. Save on cable bill.

If you are looking for a way to avoid high cable bills, the Roku device is a good replacement. You can access YouTube, Netflix and many other options for movies and TV shows. Some are free and others have optional fees. The only downside is you don’t get live local newscasts. You need a separate antenna for that. It is very easy to plug in.

I love Roku television. This is for a second tv and it works like a charm! Stream on!

Great price, great product and easy to install and use.

This is the second of these I have bought for TV is different rooms. They all work from the same account, and I have had no problems with them. They work with the remote, or with the app on my phone. Well worth the price.

We recently got rid of cable so we got a Roku to stream YouTube tv. We have all the other streaming services so it’s a convenient all in one device. Definitely recommend, plus you can find some good classics on it’s roku channel!

Had an old Roku that you plugged into the tv and it sat on the stand, it died so I had to replace it. This one is so much nicer than the old one, and so much smaller. It is great to have a device that can give you so many choices of channels, especially when you only have an antenna to get channels.

I was looking for an antenna for my TV, When my wife said "this one is good ,you can watch almost everything including my favorite kdramas". I took her advice and I'm happy I did, this is one amazing stick. Now We dont have to spend too much on cable.

Haven't had a chance to use this particular Roku stick yet due to incompatibility of equipment in rental home when I bought it but own a couple of other Roku sticks already and this is a great way to watch what you want wherever you may be

I had a Roku Ultra Plus that I was pleased with, using a hardwired connection to our internet. I am equally pleased with the streaming stick I used to connect a TV in a room that does not have an Ethernet connection. The install was a breeze.

I have used a Fire Stick for several years. When I cut the cord, my local BestBuy expert recommended a Roku Streaming Stick. Just Wish I had talked with him earlier. I now own three of them. They work great with the Spectrum Choice Streaming plan.

Bought this for the guest bedroom TV just to have some streaming options. Pretty nifty and easy to set up. Only issue, that I would have known if I researched, was it has HBO but not HBO Max for some reason. Unless we just can't figure out how to add our Max info. Overall perfect little streaming tool.
