Roku is an inexpensive way of allowing my older Toshiba TV to receive Netflix and other optional programs. Installation is easy and intuitive. (This is a first step in eliminating our ridiculously expensive cable service.)

I don’t have to beat myself up for wasting money on cable any more! I can still watch what I used to although not necessarily at the same time. Time, however, is relative, isn’t it?

Had an old Roku that you plugged into the tv and it sat on the stand, it died so I had to replace it. This one is so much nicer than the old one, and so much smaller. It is great to have a device that can give you so many choices of channels, especially when you only have an antenna to get channels.

Adding the Roku was the best thing I’ve done. I was able to get rid off the cable box and using the Roku log into my online account And receive all my cable channels. Plus I can access my Prine and Hulu accounts.

Bought this for the guest bedroom TV just to have some streaming options. Pretty nifty and easy to set up. Only issue, that I would have known if I researched, was it has HBO but not HBO Max for some reason. Unless we just can't figure out how to add our Max info. Overall perfect little streaming tool.

It helped to get a better connection to my wifi than the antenna in my smart TV .

Easiest way to turn a regular TV into a smart TV! I used a blue-ray player prior to purchasing a Roku and this by far is the easiest, and best way to have a smart TV! Saved me hundreds of dollars since I do not have to purchase a new TV now!

Overall a good device for the money. I did have a couple of concerns concerning this device. I got a notification on my screen the device was over heating. I went to web site as instructed. It said to disconnect the roku and order an extension. This was free. Ordered it and came in a couple of days. Added it, and no notifications About it overheating, but the picture was buffering. This cleared up in a couple of days, and have been happy with it since. Two criticisms I would note. One when setting roku up a credit card was required and I was not happy about this but went ahead and did it. I still feel uncomfortable about this. The second thing is it was extremely difficult to setup. After becoming increasingly frustrated I asked my grand daughter to set it up for me. She did not have any problem whatsoever. I have to say if you are not comfortable with technology you will definitely need someone to help you to set it up.

I purchased this for my daughter as a Christmas gift. I think it's a good starter for cutting the cord! I'm pleased with the timely manner that it was ready for me to pick up from Best Buy and the fast service I received when I picked it up.

I had been using the 2016 version of this product and wondered if there was much difference. In all categories including remote, navigation, and function including streaming quality this has really excelled and is highly recommended.

This makes watching movies and tv so much easier. Love the plug and play ability.

Really good product offers almost every streaming service. Remote super user friendly. Only thing volume up/ dn and mute button on side or remote. Once in a while freezes must remove batteries.

I have an older Roku. It is slow, just not enough memory I suppose. This is a nice upgrade. It moved from app to app quickly and displays the content at a reasonable speed. Not to mention that we can also watch xfinity live so that is nice

We recently cancelled our cable and went to streaming. Our 5 year old had no problems working RokuTV after showing her how to initially use it. Bonus is the remote has volume control on it. Will definitely buy again

My cable provider went 100% digital. Even with a digital tuner, I was no longer able to watch cable TV without a box. Instead of renting their equipment, I now have a pay-once solution and can use their app to watch live TV. The Roku device works perfectly for this. My only complaint is channel surfing with the remote is slow; you cannot punch in a channel number.

Bought this for my 43 inch tv I use outside with friends. Love Roku, platform is easy to navigate and all the apps I use are there at my fingertips. Third Roku I use currently in my house .

It took a little time to hookup the first unit.After that, I hooked up the remaining ones in less than five minutes. I would recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t want to pay for a box from Spectrum. It will pay for itself in 4 months.
