Easy to setup and great picture quality. Lots and lots of channels.

We bought this to replace a cable receiver and it works fine. It takes an extra minute to connect to Spectrum, but it saves me and $8/month rental fee, so the payback is just a few months. Pretty easy to set up and has all the features I need.

We have owned several Roku streaming devices over the years. This one is the best. It has great "reception," is the smallest of our Rokus, and I love that it's powered via USB cable plugged directly into the TV--and doesn't need the AC adapter.

Extremely easy to set-up and use this device. Every app I have downloaded works well except the media player provided by Roku. I cannot get it to consistently find find files that should be in a supported format on my network drive.

Really enjoy the ease of use of the Roku interface. Perfect for cable cutters. Has pretty much all the apps you'll ever need and then some. Picks up wireless signal and hold it really well so you don't have a lot of buffering issues.

I really like the fact that I could pick the street week stick to the bedroom

My Roku's been great -- I was using a blu-ray player to stream Netflix & trying to use it to stream Amazon -- major failure! The Roku took care of those problems right away! Helped my mother set one up for herself recently too -- she loves it!

we got it when we wanted to get disney plus. This roku is out of sight, out of mind, doesn't take up any room and does its job perfectly. I like how roku stays up to date with the latest streaming channels too.

The tutorial for the roku stick was very helpful in setting up this purchase. Much better than having to pay Charter for a monthly cable box fee and I get so much more with the roku stick. I plan to buy another one for my other tv.

I bought this to see if I was ready to cut the cord. I've been using it for a few weeks, and will be letting the cable company know that I am done with them for now. With this and a Sling account, I have all the TV that I want.

I never had interest in a streaming device because my DVD/Blue Ray had the apps options but Hulu is ending in it so I went ahead and selected this Roku device. It has a lot more than expected! And I’m loving it and highly recommend it. I enjoy Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, Tubi, Pandora, YouTube and else! And discovered new channels with FREE movies! Also voice commands are great. Some days I get home exhausted and is awesome o turn on my tv and simple say “play American Dad on Hulu” and within seconds I’m watching my show.

Purchasing the Roku is a good way to 'test the waters' if you're trying to decide about cutting the cord. Setting up the device is both easy and painless. Quality of the is excellent. I've enjoyed the flexibility and variety of programming.

Roku is a snap to set up although inserting into the Hdmi port was a little tight on my TV. Has loads of channels and even streams XFINITY if you have a Comcast account (which allowed me to return one of my cable boxes for a savings).

It’s the most awesome device since the smart phone. I’m so happy that someone has invented something to kill the monopoly the cable companies have had over people for years. Highly recommend. Good price, we bought one for every tv.

I wanted to update and upgrade my tvs in my home for sometime and this has been one of my best options. Instead of spending 100s of dollars, i brought this and this worked great!

This was my first foray into the world of streaming devices and I was pretty excited for this Roku specifically. It was easy to do the initial set up and the user interface was designed well. My issue was that I couldn't load the Netflix channel at all without getting an error code. I spent a few hours on the Roku forums (this issue has been present since last Spring at the very least!) and working with Netflix's help chat. In the end their response was "This is a known issue with this specific Roku model. We do not have a fix. Use something else to watch Netflix on." Uh, no. If you advertise your service on this product, I expect the service to work as you advertised. I returned this and upgraded to the Roku Premiere+, which has had zero issues.

The speed and the responsiveness of this Roku far surpasses the speed of the Rokus of the past that we had for over 6 years. Here's the problem. From time to time I could not launch a YouTube or Netflix. I called Roku customer service and we were on the phone for almost an hour reinstalling Roku, rebooting router, and even resetting the device, only to find out that my Roku was defective. I sent it back for an exchange. The new Roku works, but there's a problem with the remote control. From time to time the remote control doesn't work. So I have to open the battery compartment and take the batteries out and put them back in, and only then the remote control works. I even changed the brand of batteries from Energizer to Duracell and the same thing is happening. I haven't contacted Roku yet, but planning to. Overall, when it works, it works really well, but unfortunately it doesn't always work :-( way too much time has been wasted on this device!

excellent performance versus price. Roku has been around for some time and it shows. The base model works excellent as well, but isn't quite as easily portable

Setup for the Roku stick was a snap. Real plug and play. I have a ROKU account already, so a quick trip to the ROKU site and my new stick was operational. Well worth the dollars spent and gives me a TV that can move around my home.

Have gotten one for all our tv sets. Really expands the programs available.
