After another increase in the cable bill I decided to upgrade the roku and start streaming. Best decision. You do need the hdmi extender because the stick heats up if the port it's in keeps it next to the tv. Roku will send you the extender for free and it works, that's why this is not a 5 star rating.

I was pleasantly surprised with all of the channels that I could access with my new Roku stick. We don’t have cable so this gives us a lot of options with Netflix and Hulu subscription’s added. Very easy to use!

Easy to set up and it streams beautifully. I used to mirror the channel I wanted but was told it was on roku. It was always lagging severely and was extremely frustrating. Roku was the perfect answer.

Easy to install...just follow the instructions..quality was very good and very fun to use..I’m not a geek (over 75 years of age) and even I could install and enjoy the tv in a short period of time

This works with the Spectrum app. I bought a Fire stick but it did not support the Spectrum app so I couldn’t use it the way I wanted. Now I can watch my shows on spectrum as if I had a cable box.

Been wanting to cut the cord for 2 years. The Roku stick was the ticket! Not to mention all of the free programing that I had no idea would be on it! So much for expensive equipment rental from Direct tv.

Great way to get started with tv apps and lots of options

Just what we needed for a guest bedroom. With this we don't need to add another room of cable/box. Like the tv controls that are included in this & the price was right.

The latest stick is definelty an upgrade in processing speed, very responsive. Superior to Amazon Fire or Apple TV because of the variety of apps available. Only complaint is with the actual remote. It takes forever for the remote to connect, have switched to using the remote app on my smart phone instead.

So far we are enjoying the Roku. We ditched our cable provider and have gone to streaming so it takes a little getting used to. We are happy with the quality, ease of use and channel offerings.

I had to contact the company to get a short 'extension' so that this is a few inches away from my TV - as it began to run hot. They mailed it to me free and it took care of the problem

Bought this devise because I like Roku. I didn't realize new TVS had them in there make up already so I returned and bought a set. I should have kept for traveling when staying at bnbs

You can save money all in one device. I would definitely recommend for anyone to buy a Roku. Why get cable when you can get everything you need in one small device. All you need to pay for is for the internet.

Picked up a Roku stick for a 27 inch monitor collecting dust. Instantly turned it into an extra TV. Easy to install, easy to use, and best of all, no fee unless I sign up for premium service.

Little confusing, rent movie but charge comes from Fandago which isn't shown on home screen. Too many emails from roku

I had never used one of these before or any Roku anything before. I has turned our TV in our bedroom into a smart TV. So it did just what I wanted. First one I bought messed up and I had to return it. So I now have a new one and just haven't connected it yet. So I'm hoping it will work properly.

This is my first ROKU product. It was easy to set-up. I'm still working on the youtube addition I'm not sure about all of the features of the the more complicated use of recording, but small amount of buttons makes it easy to navigate right out of the box.
