Full disclosure: I only purchased this since I use spectrum and my tv (Sony xbr850E) doesn't support the spectrum app. I honestly love the remote and the extra options this offers compare to the "sticks" of other models. I also like the fact that I can use the find my remote feature and I've set the ringtone to the star wars theme. Pretty cool. You can also attach a hard drive or memory stick to the main unit and watch whatever is on it through your TV. Downsides: The unit keeps telling me of an error regarding hdcp2.2 authentication error.. I believe this is due to a cable issue but not sure? And the only way to get out of that warning for me has been to restart it. Also using the remote as a power n/off remote has been pretty good aside from the fact that I'm running a sound bar and the remote HAS to be pointed towards the sound bar whereas for the Roku functions you can point it anywhere.

Fast processor and EASY to use/navigate. Wish I had it sooner. Took my 8 year old Smart Samsung into a new dimension. Terrific upscaling. Highly recommend!

This is my first time "streaming". Read lots of info from other users. Then took the plunge. Everything came together perfectly. I did have an issue with freezing, same as other owners. Was advised to purchase a heat sink because the smaller the device, the more likely it is to overheat. That took care of the problem and I am enjoying all the choices available through this tiny device that is the size of a small, flat sandwich. Remote is so simple it puts cable companies to shame. Love this Roku. I have already recommended it to my friends.

The Roku ultra has been by far the best Roku we have owned. It is super fast, never freezes, and a great unit.

Upgraded from a Roku 2. Wow, what a difference. Apps load blazingly fast, remote is significantly improved, power & audio controls for the TV.

There are other devices that work well, but few that will allow viewing CBS All Access, which is the main reason I went with the ROKU. It performs well and the display is awesome on my 4K Tv.

Unlike satellite or cable tv, Roku depends on streaming from your internet. That means that sometimes your program goes into buffering while watching it. Can be annoying but 99% of the time this lasts a couple of seconds. The UHD on my Samsung is unbelievable in part due to the Roku. Streaming is less expensive. At least bad weather doesn't cause any loss of signal as with satellite tv.

Easy to use. Soimple interface. System is fast to load programs. Like that remote will work with the Roku box behind cabinet door and out f site.

I am using this device for the first time after reading reviews on BB. and thought of going for Roku Ultra because it supports 4K contents. I didn't try 4K contents yet, but yes setup is easy. Netflix and youtube is the same quality of streaming via Roku device the way it is using inbuilt TV app. The plus point is it pairs with your TV remote, so you need not to carry 2 remotes all the time. You tube throws security error sometime, I don't know why? May be some bug in in ROKU device. but once you switch off and on the tv that works fine.

This is the 3rd one of these I have bought. Now we have one in each room. It has a great picture and performance. Definitely recommended.

Use it for vudu, googleplay, netflix, hulu and youtube. Works well with all. Updates automatically. Enjoy the voice activation. Lighting fast menu. Fast video streaming. 4k compatible.

Great device that transforms your TV. Having a cable subscription is a thing of the past and I really like how this device works with Netflix, Hulu and Direct TV Now. Best features: 1) simple remote and integration is a breeze 2) Simple User Interface 3) Ton of Apps 4) Vendor Agnostic - Amazon doesn’t play friendly with Google and vice verse. I have both the Streaming stick + and the Ultra and they both perform great. I do wish Roku beefed up their voice searching capabilities but overall it’s a SOLID product.

I have used many different Roku products. This one is by far the best, super fast, great features and the 4k ability is also a big plus.

I love this product! It navigates well and is user friendly. The speak option is a huge plus and the remote doesn’t easily get lost.

This is my second Roku streaming player. I am now in love with Roku. At even as low as 2mbps internet data transfer speed, Roku Ultra kept on streaming in UHD without any interruption. With extra feature of LAN cable connectivity and memory card, Roku has got an upper edge with other streaming players in the market with ultimate reasonable price. I misplace the remote frequently and the Remote finder feature is helpful at that time or i use my Roku app on my mobile phone to operate just like a remote. A definite recommendation.

The Roku has done everything as advertised. It is also much faster and gives a better picture than using the TV or DVD to connect.
