I got it when I upgraded to a 4K TV. It is faster and we love the 4K ultra Blue Ray movies. So glad I upgraded.

We had the old Roku SE or something before and it was so slow and aggravating to use that we just wrote Roku off and used other platforms. This was partially our fault as we got the cheapest model they offered at the time. I recently upgraded to this because I had to spend some BestBuy points and figured why not? Boy was this a good choice, everything is so smooth and quick, load times short and loading apps is a breeze. This is a much better experience than before.

I like the Roku Ultra the best. It was easy to set-up, watched a video before starting and did not have any issues. I tried the Roku stick on a small TV we have and while it worked well, i just did not like it as much as the Ultra. It was slow to start because it was powered by the USB port on the TV so when we powered on the TV, had to wait for the Roku Stick to boot up. Not a big deal, i just like how the Ultra is always on and ready.

I have two Roku Ultras that I use to stream Directv Now, Amazon Prime and Plex. Easy setup and is fast.

I replaced my Chrome Cast with the Roku and noticed improved picture clarity and speed and ease of use.

I could not get my xfinity cable box to work upstairs for the life of me. This is the only thing I knew that had the app to stream on a LG OLED 4K tv. It’s okay but doesn’t have all features.

We have been avid Roku users for years. This unit is a beautiful upgrade from our first. Hope to get many years out of it too. Picture quality is great. Connectivity options galore. User interface and channel options are great as well. No complaints other than wish there was a direct audio out separate from the HDMI connection. I have an older receiver for home theater and that required an optical digital to analogue adapter - not Roku's fault.

The Rome streaming media player does the job without being overly complicated to use. If you wish to get rid of the cost of cable TV completely, this will do the job ONLY if you do not want access to premium channels. Otherwise you still have to go to your internet provider to subscribe to the premium channels. If you want premium channels, then do not get the streaming media player.

I’m very happy with this top of the line Roku player. I put it on my Chromecast TV because Chromecast is no good - weak signal from WiFi, not a lot of native apps, and the casting feature was hit and miss. But Roku delivers! Has all the channels and apps we need. Remote pairs with the TV and has volume control (Roku express does not have these features). Highly recommend this for people who want to cut the cord of cable tv.

This Roku Ultra is a fast streaming device. Lots of channels to choose from. Beautiful interface.

The device was fairly easy to setup, once it was up and running delivered great performance.

So far the Roku has been great. Easy to get use to, blows the fire stick out of the water.

Just cut the cord on cable bills and could not be happier. With the ROKU, I have more viewing options than I ever had with any cable provider. Best part is that it’s all free.
