Recently cut the cord from cable and needed to add a Roku to a television. I have another Roku but it is an older version. I love the fact that you can turn your TV on and off as well as control the volume from your Roku remote. It is so much less hassle than the cable remote that sometimes turns off one thing but not the other. No delay in moving within Roku and it has worked great with my DirectTV and Hulu subscriptions. The remote even has headphone jack to listen to tv using headphones of your own or the ones they provide. Once you plug it in, the sound transfers to the headphones. Just that simple!! We downloaded the Roku app so if we lose our remote we have it on our phone. Plus the app gives you a keyboard to actually type. Totally recommend this!!! Much better than my Roku 3 that works great.

I am pleased with my Roku and would recommend it to others. It was easy to connect and the remote connects to your tv with ease.

I've had a Roku for awhile now and finally upgraded to the newer version. I don't have cable and am now streaming YouTube TV, my other Roku didn't support this app, that's one main reason I got new version. Also, streaming is faster. The remote has voice control, which can be fun to use. Roku products are money well spent.

YouTube Amazon and other numerous apps. Good quality and speed and easy to setup and navigate. Only negative is other brands cost less.

Great roku- easy to use - perfect - great remote- !

I find Roku has a straight forward interface that is easy for everyone to use with no shortage of available apps. However I really only purchase the Ultra model to be able to connect it through Ethernet. Whenever I can I like to use a wired connection since I already have so many things where there is no option other than wireless.

I have a total of 4 Roku Ultras and they are great. The night time audio feature is really nice. Highly recommend this streamer.

This is my first version of Roku and it works very well. I have never used this type of product, but found it very easy to install and what I really like is that the Roku app allows you to use the TV without disturbing others with the TV sound, Plug your earphones in your IPad or phone and you can hear everything clearly.

I purchased the Ultra to replace my Roku after reading the reviews, well worth the upgrade. Can now control the Samsung TV sound with the Roku remote. Picture seems about the same (no 4K TV). Now has remote locator, press the button on the Roku to locate the missing remote. Bigger unit than the 3 but more features. A+

Headphones work great for quit viewing when your spouse is sleeping. Menu system and ability to search across apps are great.

I do like the easy of install and the amount of apps available. The remote is easy to use though I wish it had numbers to enter or a previous button. I don't like is that you have to hit the home button on the remote before turning your tv off. Otherwise, whatever show/movie you are currently watching will continue playing and continue to use your internet data even while your tv is off.

My older Sony HDTV needed an upgrade to keep up with 2018 streaming choices. Easy to set up and use, lots of Roku channels to choose from. I added all my streaming accounts in no time. I love you can plug in a included headset, for private listening. I don't have a 4K TV yet, but its capable of that resolution when I do.

We suspected our original Roku was wearing out, causing interrupted streaming. Finally upgraded, and we are so glad we did! The surprise was not the improvement in streaming, but that the operation was so much easier and the menu much more navigable and searchable. So glad I finally bought this Roku model!

Best streaming device to have. Lots of apps and services. Saving on monthly costs by canceling my previous satellite provider's costly monthly plan and service charges for every piece of equipment. }emotehas voice enabled control. Very satisfied with Roku. Purchased another one for a second room.

The Roku - Ultra Streaming Media Player has enabled me to cut my costs by dropping the need to rely on cable. The Roku remote is very convenient as it is designed with shortcut buttons to quickly access NetFlix, Sling, Hulu, and HBO Now. No fumbling around to figure out which buttons to push.

Was able to plug these things in and cancel all my cable boxes but one. Spectrum streams through this easily. Also love the Netflix button on the remote. Love that my kids can plug the headphones into the remote and watch TV without me yelling for them to turn it down lol. Very very happy with the Roku boxes

Finally cut the cord, and went to internet viewing. We are saving a lot of money. Roku works very well. Easy to set up. One big plus with roku is, we NEVER lose our our signal when it rains like we always had with satellite. I wish now we would have cut the cord sooner. There is always plenty to watch.

Use this to watch program apps as well as VUDU , Netflix, Prime. Works great
