I bought 2 of these at different times. It work great on my newer model television, but, the older model (7+ years) it could not stay on the internet. Kept saying, “it could not be found”, but only on Xfinity. Amazon Prime streamed seamlessly.

Good upgrade from my Roku 2. If you already have Roku devices, you'll love this one. Pretty quick, but not as quick as Apple TV in loading apps. No complaints and well worth the money considering it's about $100 less than the Apple TV.

I have used Roku for years,including several different models.The best new thing of note is Roku has recently released The Roku Channel,which has hundreds of free movies.It is ad supported.Roku has just about every app you can imagine(Youtube/Netflix/Amazon video/Hulu/HBO Now/Pandora plus lots of more apps in many different categories).The Roku Ultra is the top of the line model and has several useful features that the other models don't..Here are some points to consider when deciding on which model of Roku to buy: 1)If you need to connect by WiFi in a room far away from your WiFi router,I would recommend the Roku Streaming Stick PLUS or Roku Ultra. 2)If you have a 4K TV,I would recommend the Roku Ultra or Roku Streaming Stick PLUS. 3)To search for content using your voice,go with either the Streaming Stick,Streaming Stick PLUS or Ultra. 4)If you want a wired ethernet connection,go with the Roku Ultra. 5)If you want to connect to an old TV with RCA/Composite audio/video jacks,you will need the Express PLUS 6)The Express models have a remote where it has to be pointed at the device,unlike the other Roku models. 7)If you are only going to buy one Roku device,I would recommend the Roku Ultra.The Ultra has many unique features that the other Roku models don't such as: -Gaming buttons to play video games -Remote finder to find a lost remote control -Ethernet port for a wired connection -Micro SD card slot -USB Port -Night listening mode (this lowers the volume of loud,explosive sounds and raises the volume of soft sounds like whispers.Very useful!) -Headphone jack on the remote for listening without disturbing others

Added to an older SONY Bravia TV that has an amazing picture, but lacks any of the current Smart TV features; simple to connect and setup, and enabled access to certain apps we were looking to add to this room for a reasonable price.

I was having issues with YouTube TV on my old Roku (3 I believe). I replaced the device with this ultra model and things have been great ever since. I do not use the voice features of the device but it does support voice commands.

I love my Roku. I cut the cord recently and this was a great decision. Multiple TV and movie apps. Crystal clear 4k picture. And very compact. I hardly see it. I loved it so much I bought one for the other three TVs in the house.

It was well priced at Best N Buy. Extremely easy to set up . I purchased them to assist with allowing all my apps to work through my surround sound. Not only did it accomplish that but I have a few additional app dads to utilize.

This is hands down the best multimedia hub I’ve owned (several previous Roku and Fire devices). Very fast, picks up my WiFi signal flawlessly, and is an overall better experience than the apps on my smart tv’s and Tivo devices.

The head phone jack in the remote really helps during late nights when I'm trying not to disturb my roommates that are adjacent to the living room. My general take away with the Roku is that you can turn any TV into a smart TV.

This is a great product for cord cutters. I'm old and a novice and it was simple to use. Saved me big bucks on cable bill and paid for itself quickly. Get to watch March madness, Yankees, and so much more than cable repeats. I love it.

Unfortunately I don’t have a 4K set to evaluate the performance but it is far snappier and more responsive than my older Roku 3. Very easy to set up and all my apps downloaded and were ready to go once the device was activated.

This is the first Roku Ultra I’ve purchased. I got it since I can connect it via Ethernet cable. I have several Streaming Stick+’s. This product works great and highly recommend it for those wanting a direct Ethernet connection.

I replaced my original Roku with this top of the line mode and am so glad I did. What a great improvement on an already great product. Ease of installation is greatly appreciated as well as new features such as voice activation.

I highly recommend this product. No need to get the stick because this does so much more and your picture is worth it. I returned the stick for this after setting up the ultra in my living room. I had to have the same in my bedroom.

This is the third Roku we have bought over the past 10-15 years. It allows easy navigation of the many streaming channels, and provides security and access to 4K high-definition devices. We are very pleased with this update.

I've been using Roku devices for nearly three years and have been very pleased with the performance, range and flexibility. They are excellent streaming devices that provide nearly endless content at a very reasonable price.

This is the 3rd Roku that I have purchased, all still in prime working condition. I love them! Their ease of use is fantastic and I like not having to try and navigate through different streaming interfaces from tv to tv.

Overall this is a great streaming player. Speed is excellent, set up was a breeze, Wi-Fi reception is great, can’t say too much bad about it. However, I am new to streaming players and I think it’s totally ridiculous that the remote now allows you to control the volume and turn your TV off and on but they don’t put a mute button on it? It’s a ridiculous omission.

The Roku Ultra is really easy to use. Very simple straight forward platform that you can customize to display apps you want to see. I'm going to buy another one for my parents because it will be easier to navigate than the firestick.

We really like the newest version of the ROKU, love the screensaver!
