Best Streaming Device

Great Apps, not so great sound

I've never used the headphones that plug into the remote, but I have used the locate button on the device to find my remote! I thought this box had an optical output jack to run to my home theater for Dolby Digital sound, but it doesn't and even though it will let you set the sound to Dolby Digital it still comes over to the theater as simulated. Quite often the sound will become strangely garbled and you have to unplug the box and plug it back in to get the sound back to normal. I hate the preset App buttons on the remote, as I am constantly hitting them by accident and it interrupts my viewing!!!

Cut the Cord with This Roku Unit

This Roku has been the perfect solution. I connected it to our internet with an ethernet cable, but I have used it via our wifi and had absolutely no issues with the wifi connection. Our secondary TV is a Smart TV, but I bought a second Roku for that TV so I'd have consistent interface and channel selection with both TVs.

Cut the cord
