I have 100 MBPS internet download speed. This Roku Ultra replaced my Roku 3 so I could stream 4k. WOW! The apps and performance are the best I know of for home use.

My "smart" plasma TV is now 8 years old and has very few apps available on it. I've read about ROKU for quite a while and my daughter has one. I finally broke down and bought one and now wonder why I didn't buy it sooner. Easy setup, fast working, tons of streaming apps. I mainly use it for my Amazon Prime, VUDU and Netflix accounts but occasional sample some of the other offerings.

Got tired of paying cable bill. Originally went with Roku Streaming stick, but it didn't work well. The Ultra has turned out to be handling the streaming well. Do have some issues occasionally with Sling, but I believe that is with that particular service and not the Roku.

The Roku interface is just nice and simple and works great 99.9% of the time. Its a great balance of performance and price, and after using some other streaming boxes, i keep going back to Roku. The Nividia Shield is nice if you want to do some retro gaming through emulators but if you dont care about that then the ROKU is perfect for what most people are going to use it for.

This Roku Ultra is so much faster because of better processer than my old Roku 3. Picture quality 4k and upscaling make my 4k Sony look amazing . I'm cutting the cable with this one for streaming TV. I like UTube Tv the best so far for $40.00 because of network channels & sports. Roku remote turns Sony Tv on and raises and lowers Tv volume (WISH IT HAD A MUTE BUTTON)

This works well with all my Streaming services, PlayStation VUE, HULU, YouTube TV, Netflix just to name a few. Easy devices to navigate and remote can pair to your TV also. Can open Apps with voice command and so much more. This is an easier and better device than Amazon in my opinion. You can also use Amazon Video with Roku too. Highly recommend this device.

We bought this new one as we already had an old one, and we could not be happier. Voice activated show location, offers so much of what cable does, and we get to watch what we want. Easy to hook up and works like a charm. Will probably get one for each TV and only keep one cable box. Binge watching Brooklyn 99 adds some joy to the end of each work day. Thank you Roku.

It is one heck of a lot cheaper than a cable subscription offering more in many cases than the cable. Picture quality is excellent. Using wireless "N" caused the unit to buffer constantly. Used a CAT5 cable to the router reduced this problem. Then went to a wireless A/C router stopping the buffering problem completely. Very easy setup with many free or paid offerings.

Here in Asheville, NC we have internet speeds of at least 210 Mbps. I had one of the earlier Roku boxes that frequently had to rebuffer and would freeze. The new Roku Ultra works great with no problems. It also features voice search. The select button has been moved so I frequently forget and hit the voice search button which is located where the select button was located on the older model. It also had a button on the main box that makes the remote beep so you never have a problem finding the remote. It will also turn my television off and change the volume.

This product is even better than the older Roku 3 version. The processor is 4X faster than older models, runs cooler, and has a voice movie search program. Also has a lost remote feature for those of us who have a tendency to forget where they left the remote. It is also capable of SD, HD, and 4K viewing. If you have a smart tv, make it a lot smarter with a Roku Ultra.

Right from opening the box to set up, everything is super-easy. Great new model, with voice search. We have a number of ROKU units. This is the best by far. Also 4K ready. A large number of channel options available, some free, so need a paid subscription. All you need is a WiFi signal and you are connected to the internet and a host of viewing options.

We were thinking of getting another smart tv to our bedroom but got this instead. Works great and like the remote has options for netflix and hulu

The Roku Ultra and advanced remote is everything you would want in a streaming device. However, I could only give it 4-star because Roku in their infinite wisdom decided to do away with the much needed optical audio port. Some users do not use same manufacturer AV components. Here's my Home theater configuration, 4k Vizio TV, Pioneer 5.2 receiver, Bose speaker system. I needed the optical port for audio not going through my receiver. Despite the above issue, I would recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this to use with my older plasma who’s apps had become outdated and does not have built in WiFi. The Blu-ray player I was using also had apps that couldn’t be updated. The interface is intuitive and the device was very easy to set up. Have been using it wirelessly and have had no connection issues. Has all the apps I need. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this for streaming TV. I loved my older 2016 version of the streaming stick and I have always been looking forward to the day that a 4K capable version will be available. So I was pleased to get this one. Picture is excellent. I have it connected to my 4K Yamaha receiver and liked the resultant picture displayed on my 110" projector screen.

We got the Roku Ultra Streaming Media Player at Best Buy and are very happy with our purchase. First of all, it had Direct TV Now and YouTube TV, which our old one didn't. But the interface is excellent making it easy to switch channels and move between streaming channels. It's also nice that it has volume control right on the remote control unit.

I much prefer this streaming device over others, even though it may cost 50% more. The reasons are 1. The picture quality is better. 2. It has ports for a Micro SD card and a USB stick. These allow you to easily download and play your movies even when your internet is spotty. 3. The included remote control & Android app are responsive and easy to use.

This update is great. Finally, you only need one remote. The ROKU Remote allows you to turn your TV on and off and control the volume. YAY!!!!

This is the 2nd Roku Ultra I have purchased. Own a total of 3 Roku products in my house. Processor on this compared to my Roku 3 is much faster and work amazingly. Purchased a 16GB microSD card and have no problems with all the channels I keep adding. Remote finder button on the top has come in quite handy quite a few times. A great start for cord cutters!
