The Roku Ultra is simply amazing, very fast UI, easy to setup and streams like a Boss! I have used generic Android boxes in the past and this blows them away.

Got rid of local cable box and bought this instead. Works great with our tv and we are able to stream the apps we want to get the channels we want.

Have this item for a full month now. We cut the cord and i signed up for youtube tv. Also moved my netflix and vudu subscription to this device and it worked out great. My only complaint so far is everytime I use the Netflix app, the screen suddenly turns black as if it has trouble loading the app. Also between shows or when browsing around netflix, the screen once again u expectedly turns black for at least 3-5 seconds all the time. Kinda gets annoying once it happens to you frequently. It only happens when I’m using the netflix app. The 4k on vudu and netflix however comes out great. I have an slightly older samsung 4k tv which is not on vudu’s list of compatible TV where you can play 4k resolution so this device works great for me.

It was time to upgrade my Roku 3 to a version that supports ac wifi. The Ultra has a rock solid fast wifi connection and has improved sound over the old Roku 3.

I bought this device and was excited to get it up and running. I got it installed in my system and started the setup procedure and when it came time to activate the device a phone number appeared and said I needed to call the number to activate. I called the number and was informed that I had to pay a $100 activation fee on top of the $100 I paid for the device. I told the gentleman that I could get another streaming device that would accomplish the same thing for $30 less and no activation fee and he politely said he understood. So I took it back the next day and traded it for the other device and put the money back in my pocket. The rating I left has nothing to do with device performance as I obviously have no experience with how well it works. It was required.

Wanted to cut the cable bill and went with Internet only and Roku. Through att direct now get most of my shows, Amazon Prime member, get there service free.

I've been using Roku for a long time and am very satisfied with the product. I've tried other brands but none of them satisfied my needs better than the Roku.

Didn't want to run a cable out to the Guest house. Instead put a WIFI repeater in and can get all the channels I need with the Roku Streaming Media Player.

I have a Roku on each TV in my house. Even the free movies on the Roku channel can be worth it for another place to search for something to watch (for free).

No issues. Even though I have a Samsung smart TV needed Roku in order to get the channels that I wanted as Samsung doesn’t offer then. Roku works perfect.

My new ROKU ultra media streaming player had a very easy hookup with easy to follow instructions as you go. Works great and has a wide selection of tv viewing.

The Roku operating system is the most user-friendly out of all the devices I have tried. It's so intuitive that even my grandparents are now streaming!

From time of opening box and watching TV was about ten minutes. The voice remote makes things so much simpler. Rarely does it interpret what I say incorrectly.

Love that it has a network port so that it has the ability to be hardwired Instead of being connected over the WiFi. Would hilly recommend this product.

This is the best way to watch TV shows you like to watch. If streamming channels its great. Just need a good internet service.

I've helped friends hook up all. Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku. My findings are Amazon is easy and user friendly. Roku is second on the list to hook up and Apple TV was a nightmare. Roku to me is an 'OK' gadget

We own several different types of Roku products and we love them all. They always work great, no problems at all. Will continue to purchase Roku products.

Of all my devices that support Plex streaming (TV, Blu Ray player, XBOX, etc) this does the best job, and provides the best results. I bought it pretty much just for this purpose. This model may have been a little overkill for my use, but I am happy with it.

This is the second, roku box I own. I bough one a few years ago and it did not desapoint. My videos are clear, no frozen or pixelation images. Loads fast.

I am a fan of the roku system, this newer updated system is amazing. I just wished the power button would turn off the system as well not just the tv.
