the ear buds are the best, can watch tv in bed and not disturb the the other sleeper.

Everything works as advertised as far as the platform, ease of use and streaming. The biggest drawback is the audio delay. There is a delay with all programs, some more substantial than others. After contacting Netflix about the issue as well as roku, and getting basically nowhere, I did some research on my own and discovered this has been an ongoing issue with the ultra models. My other streaming sticks (much cheaper model) work great and do not have this issue. I needed the ultra for the convenience of plugging directly into an HDMI cable which eliminated taking my 60” tv off the wall, otherwise I would go with the streaming stick.

Happy with purchase. Had to upgrade an hdmi 2.0 cable to stop purple screen with copy protection warning. All working perfectly now.

I needed to up grade for the 4KUHD TV so since I was a previous user of the Roku, I got it at the same time with the TV. Love it.

This is a great product to stream the things you like. we were amazed at all the free channels,movies and shows we can watch.

I got this so I could put my roku stick on my bedroom tv. After having to o back for a 4k hdmi cable the roku works fantastic.

Great little descrete add on to any TV. Great WiFi range and processing speeds. Adds a ton of entertainment value to your TV.

We already had the Roku 3 on the downstairs tv and now we are so glad to have the updated Roku Ultra on the upstairs television.

Unfortunately, this unit does not have an optical out port for surround sound. It is advertised that the unit transcodes Dolby Digital Plus to Dolby Digital that is compatible with older receivers that do not have HDMI ports. Unfortunately, this feature does not actually work as confirmed by Roku's technical support department. If it did work, a simple HDMI audio extractor would provide the optical out port needed to get surround sound on older receivers. The choice to not support older receivers and effectively force end users to purchase a new receiver and/or a new tv to get surround sound is a very poor one on Roku's part.

This is one of the best thing I bought. I got rid of cox cable and this is so much better and cheaper. worth every penny I sepent

Nice to have something that you can take with you anywhere you go to watch all of your streaming programs and apps.

A very simple and easy way to update an existing dumb television to a smart television.

Having a Roku is so much more affordable then cable. I also like it because you can pick what services you want to pay for.

This was a great upgrade. It works perfectly. Love the fact we have full control of ROKU and on/off and sound from TV too.

In addition to other apps you can download and watch shows, movies etc., Roku has its own free app which has great contents

I love the simplicity of Roku and the library of apps it provides. Liked it so much I bought two units. Highly recommend.

All the best features of the original Roku plus 4k streaming. It also holds a better wireless internet connection than before.

I purchased this Roku almost a year ago. It's still working fine without any issues. I'm about to buy another one.

My first streaming device. I love it. I was able to "cut the cord" without feeling too much of a drop off. Great product.
