    We were thinking of cutting the cable cord and its high monthly fees. I thought that the memory on this model meant that it would function as a DVR. Since it does not, we decided that we needed that feature, so we returned the Roku. It seems like a good choice in streaming player though.

    Sales team at Best Buy was excellent, as it normally is, however upon opening this product it tells me I am required to sign up with ROKU for this box to work. I don't know what ROKU has to offer that would benefit me and it seems that the product should clearly state that purchasing ROKU for your TV set is required. This is slightly annoying.

    I like the Roku interface but there are too many bugs with the device. I keep having handshake issues. I've tried multiple TVs can HDMI 2.0 cables. Every 3rd to 5th video it loses connection. Also it has trouble streaming certain files with Plex compared to other streaming devices.
