Much better and cheaper than cable. But the standard battery-driven remote is a thing of massive frustration. It chews up batteries like crazy and never works when you want it to. This remote, which is powered by an internal RECHARGABLE battery, removes all the agnst you previous felt about this set up. Don’t delay. Buy now.

It is a total upgrade from the remote that came with my Roku unit. It’s a new learning experience and worth all this remote can do. Best feature is no batteries. It has a cord for recharging the remote. I love it.

Had problems pairing initially but was able to complete the process. Problem was initially the remotes would operate a different television. Work great now.

You too! At least with a local Best Buy, one may drive approximately 5 miles, buy a new Roku remote, and have it synced up to your smart tv or Roku device-all before "Wreck it Ralph" arrives home from school.
