    My dog ate my original remote so I bought this one. I was scared it wouldn’t work with the Roku version I had but it does! The only thing is that my TV doesn’t allow for the voice option.

    Great backlight, voice control needs fine tuning

    Love the back light but I find that the voice control needs fine tuning...it's half deaf! I have to yell to get its attention and then half the time it says it can't process what i ask it, or it asks me to repeat. Sounds like a man designed it, lol. Roku needs to fine tune this remote.

      Hi Shep, help is here! To address voice command issues on the Roku Voice Remote Pro 2, Please consider these steps. First, replace or recharge the batteries in the remote, re-pair the remote with the Roku device, restart the Roku device, and ensure that the microphone is positioned correctly and is not obstructed. If the problem persists, a complete remote reset may be necessary. This can be accomplished by pressing and holding the "Back" and "Home" buttons for approximately 20 seconds, then re-pairing the remote.     The buttons seem less sensitive and sometimes require more than one button press to work. The battery doesn't seem to last as long, probably due to the lighted buttons. There's no headphone jack. It seems to be built sturdy, I've already dropped it a few times with no issues. I only got the 2nd edition because the micro USB charging port on my 1st edition stopped working, I wish they had just redesigned the 1st edition with a USB‑C.

    Geek Squad made my purchase valuable

    I was not satisfied with the Roku until the Geek Squad came to install my new receiver. They helped me by installing the Roku in my remote to the receiver. Very helpful!!
