It should be a standard remote honestly, especially when you buy an actual ROKU TV, which I did. It's only included on the top of the line "Pro" models.

The batteries had to be replaced too often. I charged this remote out of the package, and it was several months before I had to charge it again.

The only negative is that it does not have numbers, which would be helpful to use when excessing my cable provider.

Instead, we use a fun grid-based channel selection system, and the number buttons are usually reserved for searching or navigating through menus. When it comes to changing channels, it’s super easy! You can use the arrow keys to access the channel list. Plus, if you want to find your favorite channels quickly, you can filter your guide. Just open the Channel Options Menu, select "Filter," and choose from options like "All Channels," "Recents," or "Favorites."

While the voice commands seem to also work fine, they will take some time to get used to and we do not use the voice commands very often. Since I don't really use the voice is why I just gave it 4 stars. Battery life seems really good as well.
