Their rep suggested switching Roku to save money. The basic Roku remotes suck. Switching to this remote is a game changer. I still prefer more control, but this has made my life easier.

We are a Roku family and this was a replacement for our older version. Great upgrade.

Back lit buttons and a mute button, also, NO MORE batteries to replace! something my older regular battery operated controllers lacked severely. I actually bought 3 of them.

I like the back light and how it lights up on touch. The voice activation takes getting used to if you haven't used one before. Very easy to use.

But this one works for my older Roku device. We had an older (5 yrs) or so, device with a inoperable OK button. Best buy said remotes were interchangeable; They are NOT. I called Roku service and was told they are not but that this will work....... and it does!!!!
