If the case is open (folded back), it's a little cumbersome if you're trying to use the fingerprint security option on the Note 8. I did like that it covered the screen for minimal protection. I was afraid the cover would tear over time from being opened and closed, and being folded back to get the front cover out of your way. It's also not real conducive to picture taking; the cover has to be held open and out of the camera view in order to snap a picture. Not one of my favorite Samsung cases. :(

I truly love this case. It has sleep/wake feature, along with showing notifications and time thru opaque front. Allows you to have some privacy for your notifications. BEST CASE I’VE EVER PURCHASED.

This is the second case I have had. It saved my hand when I fell and the case took the hit. My phone did not have a scratch. It opens as a book love love love this case. Highly recommend

Perfect for Samsung phone and its nice to be able to see the time without having to open the cover. Its over 18 months since I bought it and is still working/looking great

The case itself fits well. My biggest issue is the new position of the finger print sensor and the flip style case. Makes it difficult to use.

Got this so that way I didn't have to open my phone all the time and can see my notifications on the case. Can also talk on the phone with the case closed.

The only criticism is the Always on Display fails to remain persistent when the cover is closed. There is no way to customize what is shown when the cover is closed.

It keeps the whole phone covered, but allows for it to see incoming calls and notifications. May not fully protect phone from drops but keeps phone covered

I really like being able to have access to calls, etc. even when the cover is closed.

This is a great accessory from Samsung. It makes the phone look great and you can answer the phone without opening the case. It is slim and lightweight

I was hesitant to buying the Note 8, since there was nothing wrong with my Note 4, nonetheless I to took the plunge and am very pleased with my decision.

I love this case. I strongly recommend this to every men. It's simply nice. I will get a different color same product. Don't think twice, get it

Not as integrated as the S View cover for the Note 4. But has a nice viewing stand built in. Cannot control the clock format when cover is closed.

Extremely convienent and makes taking calls effortless however I noticed the corner has begun to peel slightly so hoping it's just normal wear & tear.

I liked the idea of this case and it is beautiful. I am not sure it lives up to 5 stars, as it didn’t always stay in display mode as intended.

Phone cover is easy to put on phone and has front cover display which allows calls to be answered without having to open front cover.

Does not look black it was more of a dark navy which is weird, it was blurry when it displayed the time

I love the fact that you can see the date and time while it is closed. You can also control the music and answer calls. It looks great

In a buying frenzy after just getting my Note 8, I picked this up for a decent price. It is all plastic and feels very fragile in the hand. You will need a screen protector to go with this if you were thinking this only will protect your screen. Why? because dust and debris gets in between the front cover and your screen which will scratch with anything caught in between. Also, it really doesn't do much other than show notifications.

I had Galaxy note before, but this one is so far the best one. Great, huge screen. I love the new gadgets. And the pictures are amazing
