A thunder lightning storm Zapped mine this summer and created the need for the new one. The new one fit like a glove right in the same footprint where the old one was and in fact was about 3 in shorter top to bottom which was nice to have the room back above my range. It is very easy to operate and again I just got the basics which I am extremely happy with.

The size dimensions are perfect for any size kitchen. Never had an issue. A must buy, don’t hesitate

Handle breaks easily

In August 2025, that handle broke too. It was still under warranty so they replaced the door including the handle and January 10, 2026 that handle broke as well! So in one year and one month we went through two handles! Because it is passed the year mark for the manufacturers warranty and passed the three month mark for the “repair” Samsung will not stand behind their crap product. The other features of the microwave worked fine, but what good is a microwave if the handle keeps breaking every other minute? I will now look for a microwave that does not have that kind of a handle and is not SAMSUNG.

Plastic handle,no 2nd shelf

But it is a lower quality, plastic handle, small tray, and no 2nd shelf. The light is an incandescent and not bright. I replaced it with an led bulb. Must brighter now Do not expect it to last 11 year like my old one.

Cheap product would not recommend

Overall the appearance is nice takes food longer to warm up. The overall design is cheap after just 7months (August), the whole door handle has broken and came off. I started to notice in July that opening the door was becoming hard oiled the side to see if that would help tried to open it and the bottom part of the handle broke I pushed it back in thinking that it had snapped back in. We didn’t use it for a while then in August my daughter went to warm something up grabbed the handle to open it and the entire handle came off. Now I am forced to open it from the bottom if we intend to use it. But now it’s an eye sore over my stove without the handle.
