To me, not a wise choice, but when the old one, approaching 15 years of age, had broken door, it was time to replace it. My wife thought it best to try to find a microwave that would fit the old space and though many did, this Samsung microwave seemed to be a good and economical replacement. Now that it has been in use for several weeks, I feel comfortable saying it is a solid product and does what is expected of it. Certainly, it may not have all the "gimmicks" of pricier ovens, but it has everything we need and certainly more features than our old microwave.

Problems are that the "buttons" don't always respond, you have to touch them over and over. This week the handle started cracking. I have no idea why. Again, we don't use it often, we don't have kids at home slamming it around. Apparently it is just made cheap.
