It wasn't installed until the spring of '23 and died in Oct. '25. Samsung told me it was out of warranty (which I understood) and sent a tech out to diagnose the problem. Basically, the unit would not regulate how hot it would cook - technician put a cup of water in for 2 min. and burnt his hand pulling it out. They said they would call back with the cost for parts and repair. It needs 5 parts totaling $579 plus $95 for labor and $120 for a "trip" charge. For a $200 microwave... junk. Don't waste your money.

Great Microwave

The only thing is it shows fingerprints very easily, so needs to be wiped down often if you don’t like those showing. Works great and installed it ourselves easily. Would recommend!

The first one lasted about 4 years but it started acting up. Turning on by itself then the fans will go off without turning it on. It was creepy. I unplugged and bought a new microwave. So far new microwave has been good.

I do not cook in it just defrost or reheat and it is great for that use. One thing I miss is the night light feature that my old microwave had, I did not pay attention that this one did not have that feature.

I was able to use the same bracket from my old GE microwave
