Exhaust relatively quiet and is effective in clearing cooktop fumes. The only downside is that the turntable is smaller than in most similar sized microwaves so keep that in mind.

Although the microwave is designed for installation above a cooktop, the handle could not withstand the heat—the connecting piece melted and eventually broke. I do not recommend this product.

Buttons hard to push and invisible in low light. Turntable rotates in fits and jerks. Down light to stove is too dim to be very helpful. Disappointed.
