I bought 5 of these Chromebooks for my classroom. They are easy to use and durable. I would definitely recommend them.

This is the same chromebook as my son's school. It is fast and easy to use. My son uses it every day for practice work.

So easy to set up. Took seconds for my kid to be up and running. The 4gb is newer and costs less than the older version.

If, like me, you are looking for a small laptop to gut and intake your own software, this is not fit you. But, I use it for online classes and as it was intended, and it's perfect. Keep in mind, you need internet most of the time, but documents can be saved and edited in certain instances. Download chrome browser and dig into all the plugins and document abilities before purchasing. It's a great product but limited in certain areas.

I bought this for my boys because I've heard good things about Chromebooks. My boys wanted to download a game but unfortunately the game is only compatible with Windows. I was unable to download game but I used this for other things like surfing the web and it is very quick and comes in handy. Recommend it for simple things like that. But if you need it for writing papers or downloading games you might as well just spend more for a PC.

I bought this laptop for my 9 year old daughter to do school projects on. I was very happy to find out that all the programs on this device were very easy for her to use and already set up with tools that she already currently uses in the classroom. The sales associate that sold me this was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this product to any parent as most schools are starting to teach children on computers at a very young age these days.

It took about 2 minutes to set up my wife's new Samsung Chromebook 3. Technical problems frustrate her so it was so refreshing to have everything go the way they should. We're happy we got the 4 GB version (as recommended by other reviewers).

My children have been "stealing" my Chromebook since I bought it. It's a Toshiba Chromebook 2, which is a much nicer unit than these, but they will suffice for my kids to use for their homework and playing web games. Having already owned a Chromebook may have been my initial issue with starting the first one, but I never had this happen with the Toshiba. When I logged into my daughter's account, the machine would open 2 Chrome tabs, screen would flash a few times, attempt to reopen and then restart. A relatively quick Google search revealed a couple possible issues. The solution for us was to browse as guest, and update Chrome from the guest account. That's done by clicking the three line menu, about chrome, check for updates. This took a substantial amount of time. I'm used to updates taking less than 30 seconds, this was close to 5+ minutes. After that update, everything works well. The screen is a decent brightness when the setting is upped. Speakers are acceptable. A backlit keyboard would be nice, but what can you expect for the price. The compact form factor of this is also really nice. If you need a decent little laptop for web browsing and are handy at using cloud based apps, this little machine can get you by for relatively little money. If you're not familiar with the Chromeos/Chromebook experience you should research the advantages and short comings first before committing. Personally, I'd prefer to be able to do everything with it but in my line of work sometimes you need serious software, which these are not going to be able to run.

Great computer for someone who is always on the go. Perfect size, and overall a great product.

The Samsung Chromebook3 can do many things, it cannot replace a laptop. This is a great item for people like myself who find tablets and smartphones a pain especially when wanting to actually type. Essentially it is a barebones laptop with little memory and a very basic OS. As a simple web browser as I like to use it, it is great.

This computer is very fast. It is slim and compact. Perfect for briefcases or tote bags. Definitely a great buy.
