I bought the Chromebook so that I could use it on a counter while standing up. I am on the internet a lot and use Google Chrome all the time for so many things. So rather than reconfigure my whole office computer set up, I got this. I researched it and tried it in the store first. I can see the screen very easily and it is easy to type on. Now I stand a lot more often which is definitely good for my health.

Easy to use. Great speed however one problem....I did check the reviews however I guess not enough. I tried to download the Direct TV App and it isn't compatible. I read peoples thoughts and fixes and tried them all but not working. Would love to know if my wonderful Geek Squad and help with this problem. We thought this would be great to have while on the road.

For the price, it can't be beat! works great for just searching the web and schoolwork.

My son needed to replace his old Chromebook and this one meets his needs. Good battery life, screen and like all Chromebooks nice and lightweight. The one negative is the left shift key is really hard to push and makes a click/snap sound when it is pressed - all the other keys work as expected.

Easy to use and small. Not complicated at all. Great for school work.

I purchased the Google Chromebook because I am not a fan of Apple products and I loathe the new Windows OS. I am the type who doesn't need a lot of features on my computer. I use it mostly for web browsing and working on documents, so I thought this would be perfect. The processing seems to lag just a little, not very much in the big scheme of things, but opening Chrome does take an extra second or two. I haven't had to use Google docs or sheets yet so I can't speak on that. One thing that I am having trouble with though is figuring out how to use the drive on the computer while connected to the internet. Everything defaults to the Google Drive so I'm not sure if you have to disconnect the internet in order to save onto your computer's drive. Another thing I've noticed is that it seems difficult to physically plug in a printer. The laptop prints over WiFi but unfortunately my "smart" printer does not connect to WiFi anymore so we plug it into our other laptops to print. I can't figure out a way to make this work on the ChromeBook. Besides that, the laptop is great. Sleek, clean and simple. It's proven to be a very useful buy! Just make sure that you know what you're getting into when purchasing the ChromeBook. It's not your typical laptop.
