After doing a lot of research I purchased this item. Its a lot slower loading pages then I expected. Even slower than my old Windows 7 Lenovo, 6 yrs old laptop is faster. Returning to best buy.

I know people are crazy about these cheap chrome books because of the price, but sometimes you get what you pay for. I found the trackpad to be horrible. I would not recommend it.

The Chromebook would not allow me to log in. It could only be operated from the guest settings. My wife teaches with Chromebooks at her school and my kids have had one for 2 years. I ordered one and sent it back for a replacement. I had the same problem with the second one. I took it back to Best Buy and there only solution is to send it off for two weeks or buy a more expensive model. I have sent it to Samsung and am waiting for them to repair it for two weeks. It will be 4 weeks until my kids can use their Christmas present.

The Samsung Chromebook 3 is a great device BUT be sure to get the new version with 4gb of RAM memory and 32gb of SSD storage. The new version is the same price as the old 16gb version but it has double the storage for your files. Best Buy puts the new 32gb version on sale at least one weekend every month for $150 or $170, truly a "best buy". If you want a ultra light weight Chromebook with nine hours of battery life, small enough for easy carrying, the Samsung is a great choice. Some people take a heavy $1,000 laptop to class or on a job assignment just for taking notes and sending emails. The Samsung does those basic tasks perfectly at a bargain price.

Apparently we underestimated the value of memory and/or processing power. Internet was horribly slow.

This computer is slow and glitchy. I suggest you get one with a better processor or more ram. Best Buy is cool though

Bought as an open in box never used item for my daughter for Christmas. The day after Christmas had to bring it back to the store due to "technology problems", they rebooted it and all was to be fixed. It's been 2 weeks and still having problems. Not happy, bringing it back tomorrow in hopes that it will be fixed or replaced! Oh, merry Christmas sweetie, mama got you a Bad Chromebook

Not the best very slow. Early gets viruses after the 2nd use. Only used it for 15min. Didn't download anything

The computer died within a month but Best Buy allowed me to swap it for another laptop with a different model

I bought this on Black Friday and it worked once but would never turn on after that.

Its Basically a tablet not ideal for school. Its more of a big cell phone.

This one has a problem with connecting wifi. In the setting, it said connected to wifi but when I go to google or any other web. It say no internet connection. My phone and iPad can connect and function well with this wifi. Only this cromebook doesn't work. It was such a wasting money.

After reading tons of reviews, comparing prices vs specs, I decided on this Samsung at open-box price. It will suit all my needs (mainly writing and school work on-the-go). It is very light but feels sturdy, nice keyboard, fast and can handle multiple open tabs just about as well as my macbook, though it burns through battery. Glad I got the 4G over 2G. My main complaints about it could have been solved by spending an extra fifty to a hundred bucks to get all the features I wanted that this lacks--no backlit keyboard, not the sharpest screen resolution. But, for the price this is a solid, functional machine that I will get a lot of use out of and not feel bad about having to replace it in a year or two.

I had to research the "right mouse click" - it's a two finger tap. That was my entire learning curve. I bought this in the store after seeing the form factor. It had to be ordered since it had sold out. Lightweight, thin, and small was what I wanted. Keys are easy to read due to high contrast of letters to background. It is really fast and battery lasts so long I can't even measure it. Lasts way longer than I do. Keyboard has great feel. Touchpad works very well. Connection to wifi never fails. I am very pleased.

First chromebook had to return because it would lock up while using it. Second chromebook had to return because everytime we clicked on a new browser tab it would shut off and you have to log back in. Very disappointed in the poor qaulity.

I purchased 2! 1 the bluethooth doesn't work and the other one, I end up return it because didn't work at all! I can't return the other one because was "Santa's" present so I can't take it back
