The whole reason I needed a new laptop was because my old one was much too slow for the work needed to be done on it. I've never had a chromebook before and was willing to try it out. Best feature about this- how fast it is. The processor is surprisingly fast and for average internet browsing, writing papers on google docs, it will definitely get the job done. My main purpose for this laptop is for college. I needed a faster computer that can keep up with all the sites I need to be on at once. NOTE- it is NOT a windows computer. Just be sure to keep that in mind when purchasing that you can only download microsoft word (and others window based programs) as an app from the google play store. The apps I have gotten so far from there all work great, though. PROS- very fast for the money (I would suggest catching it on sale though) Exceptional speakers Very lightweight and portable Lots of storage and doesn't take long to load sites/apps at all Charge lasts a decent amount of time too (big upgrade if coming from a laptop from 5-6 years ago like I did) CONS- screen resolution is not the best. On a white background it almost looks a little smeared and dirty. BUT when watching videos/movies it looks HD and clearer. I personally don't like not having a regular caps lock button. It is a little bit of a hassle having to press the alt + search key simultaneously. The charging port doesn't stay in that well. It always seems loose and you really have to keep the laptop in a firm place for it not to fall out. OVERALL- on a black friday sale I got this for only $119 and I gotta say, worth the money. No, it's not going to perform like a mac or a $500 windows laptop but for a cheap alternative, it's exactly that. I actually prefer google chrome OS because it takes up much less space than windows 10, 11, etc. I also enjoy the apps and they're easy to work with.
