I am so excited. Black Friday early ad came out. My computer wasn’t working well. I called the store and the sweetest lady named Lilly helped me and when I got there to pick up there was no problem. My granddaughters are going to be so excited Christmas. Such a great price. Thanks Best Buy :)

My children recently started middle school an needed access to a computer for homework and studying. The chrome book was perfect. Affordable an does everything they need.

Just what I needed for basic computing needs. Check email, surf internet, and save files to Google Drive. I love it!

If you need a laptop that really doesn't need to do much except use the internet and some basic school / entertainment things, this is it. I've had this for about 12 hours now and I'm satisfied. I bought it on Thanksgiving '17 when it was $100 and it was delivered the following Monday. I got it for the sole intention of just internet and my ASL interpreting classes where the majority of homework is piggybacked off Google docs anyways. There was a Google app update where I was surprised to find I could also download some apps I heavily use on my phone on this. IE a way to use that Netflix download feature for offline viewing and same with some reading apps like Comixology I prefer a using with a bigger screen. The only software glitch I've encountered so far is the Nook app. It keeps crashing on me which is actually frustrating because it tends to be my default epub and PDF reader. The other thing that bugs me is the charger. Everything about this screams minimalist... until you get to the wall adapter end of the chord. 4.5ish for my personal preferences but 5 for over all use and price.

My son needed a chromebook for school. Couldn't believe our luck to find this for the price of $99!! No need to buy the protection plan at that price. He's used it a week and is happy with it's speed and capabilities.

Great starter laptop for students, with everything online and on school websites my two struggle over one computer to get their homework done.

Love my little chromebook. Was hesitating, heard people say that you're limited with a chromebook, that you can't download other browsers than the google that is on there. Which is true, but it doesn't bother me a bit. It turns right on when you open it up, the battery life is fantastic, it lasts all day if you were to use it non stop, and it loads pages quick. Never had a virus on there. The only thing i'm not that excited about is that it has basically no hard drive. Wish I could download my extensive picture library. The only way to do it is to use a flash drive....:( Other than that, I'm happy with it. Perfect to browse the internet check email.

I purchased this Chromebook during a Black Friday sale and only paid $99, which in my book is a great deal for what it is. It's primarily used by my grade school kid for homework, etc. and works just fine for this purpose. I even use it from time to time for light-duty online stuff and haven't had a single issue. The only thing I don't care for is the charging plug. On the laptop end it's very small and does not have a very positive fell when plugging it in. I feel like it would break easily if abused. The speakers are relatively weak, but not unusable. The keyboard doesn't flex too much, but again, at this price point you can't expect Mac levels of quality. If your expectations are realistic this is a great little Chromebook.

I have the 4GB version and overall it works pretty well. I'll admit that some flash/content heavy websites such as "irionicall" the best buy or lowes home sites take a few seconds to pause/load. Overall this is very fast though. Pros: 1. Small, sleek, fast to just pickup and use 2. Chrome OS runs smooth, hiccup free for the most part 3. 100 dollar price Cons: 1. Keyboard size is somewhat trying since its such a small device. This isn't really a knock though but the keys could feel a bit better 2. The power cord the way it plugs in seems like a cheap flimsy old flip phone from the 90s. No magnets or anything fancy. It seems like every time i stick it in to charge it never goes in flush and might not stand the test of time 3. Sometimes you feel like your on a kids toy

I was able to snag this device during a just before BF 2017 (~$99), for an incredible deal. It is for the kids as their school uses Google Chromebooks. The machine feels like a quality device, keyboard has a nice feel, trackpad is ok, and the screen is ok. It is relatively fast. All said it is perfect for the kids to log into their School accounts and do their online homework. Great, device especially for the ridiculous price.

This is my second entry level chromebook and it does literally everything I need a laptop to do. I have used it for web browsing, have written numerous college papers and office applications are readily available. I have now converted entirely from pc to Chromebook. I can't do any gaming but that's why I have a game console

This little chromebook is awesome! Great size , quick and responsive. It takes a little getting used to since it doesn't run on Windows, but you can catch a video on YouTube for tutorials. For more memory, just slip in a micro sd card , type documents on Google Docs and catch a movie on Netflix! FYI, for printing you need a wifi printer.

This laptop is so small but perfect for little fingers. My children are learning how to type and starting to learn how to do internet research, and this is the perfect laptop for them. Lightweight and inexpensive. It was hard for me adapting to it. One, because of its size and two because it isn't as easy to use. It is incredibly basic...good for using the internet and saving things via the google cloud drive which can make some things easier, like the need for downloading a lot of programs.

I love my computer laptop it's very Compact and easy-to-use setup was very easy it's WiFi it's thin and Sleek if it's right under my television I actually plug up to my television and use the HDMI to watch movies directly from my tab on laptop and it is awesome I recommend it for anyone who always do is on the go but likes to have business to go without carrying a large briefcase or laptop bag is compatible and it does everything that I needed to do.

Easy to start up, sleek layout, fast and reliable. Glad it has a disc drive instead of having to buy an external one. Lots of ports like hdmi, flash drive, headphone jack. Some newer ones don’t have those and I picked this one specifically for that and the 1TB hard drive. Couple things I’ll wont use software wise that came preloaded but easy fix. Touch screen is great, all laptops should have that feature by now! HP makes a nice computer.

It's not a full laptop, but that's not what it purports to be. It does what it needs to do. I bought it for writing when I'm on the road (because it is a pain to try and write using a phone or tablet), and for that it's fine. I haven't had it for very long, so I don't know if this is the wifi or the chromebook, but it can be a little slow online. I'm hoping it's just the wifi. All in all, for the price i paid, I am happy with it.

Way better than a tablet. Would and will recommend this product to all my family and friends.

My granddaughter needed a Chromebook for homework, I had no idea what to look for. Took a chance on this book and it was the best thing ever. My granddaughter loves it's setup and easy use. She's in the 7th grade and all math homework has to be done via internet. For a better buy look for it on sale. I did!!

This laptop has been awesome and fits my needs for school and writing lesson plans. I would not recommend for heavy users, especially since there is not enough memory. However, you can use a USB to save things if you like to save space know your laptop. If you're like me, its more than what you need for surfing internet and creating documents.
