He has a really bad habit of pounding on the keys and so far he has not broken any keys and it has been more than a year. This is an excellent chromebook. It was relatively inexpensive and has served it's purpose over and above what I had hoped. Again, my husband is really hard on computers and laptops and this one has done really well.

Everything is good except for the display

Battery lasts forever, browsing speed is actually impressive. and you will probably have no issues with connectivity. Now that there are cloud apps for many office and programming IDEs making this the perfect device for basic operations where you cannot take your main computer or you just need a YouTube/Netflix machine.
