Got this chromebook for my wife who absolutely loves it. It's not fancy but we got it for a great price and works very well for web surfing and basic applications.

So far so good. Chrome book has been used by a 8yr old and is still working. Screen feels like it is low resolution. Battery last a long time. Still running fast.

I was nervous about getting a chrome book because I’m not familiar with the systems but that was completely unwarranted. This chromebook is easy to use and it’s very easy to find things. I’m using this for school work and occasionally I watch movies on it through streaming services. I’ve never had an issue doing more than one thing at a time!

Bought this computer on Black Friday to write papers for school. Works well for surfing the web and is easy to carry. The chrome book is light and durable.

Perfect size for my middle schooler. She can do all her homework with this simple chromebook. Updates are automatic, unlike windows that need patching etc.

Got this for my 11 year old sister for school, she uses it every day, and it's light-weight to take to school, the screen is ok, but it's great for the price

When you install Linux BETA on the Chromebook, you don't get to access the microSD flash drive that you insert in the machine. As of 12/1/2018, ChromeOS is on build 71. There are hints that build 73 MAY allow access but there is no committed date or commitment for this feature. I needed a 64-bit Linux machine to replace my 32-bit Netbook, which still runs great, but is no longer getting new software due to 32-bit restriction. Other than that, I love the battery life and the keyboard on the unit. It is otherwise responsive, and runs Skype, Viber, IMO, etc. better than on Win10.

I wanted a simple laptop to check email and do my taxes. I love the speed and size of this computer. Perfect for my needs. Easy to learn to use as well.

My child needed an inexpensive yet effective computer for school and this one was the way to go. Hasn't given us any issues as of yet.

Was very pleased with my purchase, especially at the price point. Starts up instantly, perfect for your most basic needs. Though Chromebooks serve different purposes than windows based operating system, for those who are familiar with google chrome browser and all other google related products it is great at what it does. The perfect computer to take to a coffee shop and do some writing or basic projects via apps like google docs etc. I got this one as a replacement to my older Chromebook (which I had fallen in love with) and was equally as smitten with this one. I personally give it 5 stars.

The Sampson - 11.6 Chromebook is just the right size for my desk. It is easy to use and so portable. This is my first laptop and I am happy with it.
