Not sure if all chrome books are this way, but know it is just used by my kids as it is too slow for any of my work. Brought it during a Thanksgiving sale and did not take too much time to realize why it was available this cheap

Not for me, the use of programs like Microsoft Word when you do not want to keep documents could not get rid of, took 20 minutes to fully disregard. I didn't like always seeing email account, with regular laptop email account was able to delete.

I bought this with the hopes of my 7 year old daughter using it. At first I tried to set this up to her own usage but since she's 7 she can't download apps or do anything much more than turn it on. Samsung claims the family link app will solve this but as of a little less than a year into this purchase they have yet to resolve the situation. Then I had to do a power wash to get rid of that profile and set it up under an adult profile. Even then I could not restrict the internet settings to exclude adult content. I've come to call this laptop Lebron James because it sure is a flop in my book.

This laptop is very slow and cannot keep multiple windows open on the same time and the keyboard is really cheap quality

I would think about multiple years of being on the market that Chromebooks would be able to handle more than just "basic" internet-ing. The Chrome OS would not support the remote access website I use to view and work on my office files. No download is necessary, it's just a remote access. Called the Chrome people and was told they weren't even thinking of supporting that kind of thing in the future. So the Chromebook was immediately taken back to the store!

Waste of money. Apps don't work. They run but they don't work. It seems to have an identity crisis. It can't decide if it's a phone or a laptop, or if it has a touchscreen or touchpad, or if it's a game or a computer... It's not just the apps that are confused, there are things in setup that can't be adjusted because it won't respond to clicks or taps. It does a lot less than my phones do, I was expecting more. You can't put anything on the laptop, it doesn't allow that. No pictures or music or letters. Nothing. It's only weak web browser, refrigerators have those.

Plain and simple. What you pay is what you get for. Terrible screen quality, slow processor. You also can’t upgrade anything.

Not even 2 months old and the camera stopped working. I've tried all the online forums and still cannot get it to work, even after reinstalling the app.

It is slow and time to time it is getting blank. So thing is just does not work right. Does not word the money. One word is the best: junk!

I have never used Chromebook, purchase for the first time. I am not conferrable and performance is not satisfactory. Look and feel is not great.

First let me say Best Buy is a great store to buy electronics at. Their online shopping and in store pickup are the best. I do not purchase electronics without having an in store pickup option. My local Best Buy pick up service is the best. Now to this Chromebook purchase. It is great for the price, got it at $129 on sale. It is definitely worth every penny. It is fast and responsive. It includes the Google Play Store and more importantly support for Linux apps as well. With Linux apps support the future is going to be limitless for Chromebooks. With Linux apps support you can install Firefox, a full office suite and run those apps without an internet connection when necessary. Linux apps and access to the Play Store make Chromebooks an unbeatable value. Linux runs better on budget hardware and that is what Chromebooks have. This Chromebook is a great deal and I am happy with my purchase, the only reason for the 4 star rating is the screen is not the best, but for $129 I will live without an ultra HD screen on this machine. If you catch a deal on this machine and you need a computer with great performance you should definitely buy one of these. Thank you Best Buy!

Does what it needs to do but is not a laptop. Works ok if you are into only using google suite

Way too slow, even for $100. Getting a normal laptop for a bit more money would be leagues better.

Garbage, returned...... slower then my phone. Okay extra and get the better one
